  • Thanks for keeping MPC up to date.
  • Thank you guys for the great work on this project!!
  • great
  • One of my favorite media players, thanks to everyone who has contributed to this!
  • VLC once sat upon my taskbar along with other notable apps like Firefox and Krita. But no more. That vaunted task bar space is now filled with the black heart/skin of MPC-BE. Best media player I've ever come across. It gets an easy 5/5 because it is has been entirely flawless and contains every single feature that I require, and then some.
  • The "preview in the search" option disables on its own sometimes, don't know why this happens. Also, is there a key shortcut to flip/mirror video? I use ALT+Numpad 4/Numpad 6 to rotate it, but I can't find a way to quickly do a 180 deg turn.
  • I have an request Maintain display of how many times playback is currently Throw away the playing file in the trash Setting the basic playback speed Please please
  • As of writing this (2019-10-10T19:00 UTC), MPC-BE is the world first (and the only) Media Player on Windows that fully supports MKV embedded fonts attached with the standardized media types (mpv can't handle application/font-sfnt right). Note that in general (depending on your settings) every MPC-based player (the original MPC by Gabest, HC, BE, HC unofficial by clsid2) is NOT frame-accurate when handling softsubs using its Internal Subtitle Renderer: e.g. end-frame off-by-one may sometimes occur. One can try to find "good" settings, or use an external sub filter (VSFilter, XySubFilter) to rectify this problem. One thing I really like about MPC-BE is, unlike MPC-HC, it can maximize the Properties window (Shift+F10). This is extremely handy when you use the MediaInfo tab and see Encoding settings of x264. очень хороший, cпасибо. PS. I was amazed by how sourceforge has changed (full of ads, poorly tested web designs). Not even sure if I can actually post this. I had to disable CSS just to see the editbox.
  • It's very good, but it have a problem with the player size and resize. One bug I can warn is when you are at Fullscreen -> Go to the next file (Ctrl + pg down) -> back to normal screen size. As a result of it the player goes as resizable size. It can be considered a bug because right after it if you go fullscreen again, not skip file, go back again, it come back to maximized player size
  • Не понимает субтитры, которые понимают другие плееры, коотрых я перепробовал штук пять. Придется менять на VLC.

  • Otimo, amei pra caralho!
  • Hi please add these features : 1. A-B repeat. (google it) 2. instantly "3D to 2D" or "side by side (SBS) to 2D" to watch 3D movies on 2D screen. (like kmplayer's feature) thanks.
  • Hello! Can you add svp to your build? people will be very grateful to you !!!
  • Enable random playback for music and videos, please
  • Best video player for Windows ever! Thank you dev team for this amazing app! UI, UX and performance, everything gets a solid 10/10!
  • Building upon the already formidable code of MPC-HC, MPC-BE brings the most committed developers from MPC-HC project and continues it's legacy as one of the most up to date players available.
  • Quick, nice appearance and comfortable. Unlike PotPlayer, this player did not blink the skin when the window was resized.
  • MPC-BE is the best player for Windows, Mp4 Video 1 Click is the best converter/encoder for Windows embedded into File Explorer mouse context menu. What if a tool integrating both these apps might exist...

  • My player of choice again, now that they finally (9/2020) fixed the audio bug with the MPC Audio Renderer! (Luckily too, now that PotPlayer added a stupid little ad window that occassionally appears.)

  • Great program! When "Shuffle" is enabled, it won't play the previously played file, it will play the file numerically above it in the playlist(as if shuffle were never on) This is an oversight I would like to see corrected. Example: Plays file 2043, then file 7314, hitting "previous" jumps to 7313 instead of 2043. I understand very little about this site or coding but Googling gave me this parent 909a2c3 commit 29bf115aff3fb10e974ff5b52f2331a031526599 which is either an update or a way to update or something that may be of value to the wonderful devs.
  • WHY IS MISSING OPTION ,,AFTER PLAYBACK - PLAY NEXT FILE IN FOLDER,, ??? IT IS VERY IMPORTANT AND BASIC FUNCTION WHEN YOU CAN LISTEN SONGS FROM FIRST TO LAST IN FOLDER (ALBUM) WITHOUT CREATING PLAYLISTS.

  • Gives the customization I want and blows VLC out of the water.
  • Where are the downloaded subtitles placed??? Please make it download subtitles in the movie folder..... I want to transfer a movie with subs to a portable disk.....
  • MPC-BE is an elegant and deceptively simple looking player, having nearly every feature you'd want in a media player. The only thing that is noticeably missing is documentation, but you can find most things out on your own if you dig a little. Options you didn't know of may be hidden in a menu you haven't looked in yet, so be sure to explore it thoroughly. The player doesn't use a lot of computer resources, and basic command line functionality for it exists should you need it. It is also a huge bonus that there are developers actively working on MPC-BE. The comparison with VLC below is not representative, but I watched it for some time with both playing the same 72-hour playlist (of mp3 files); MPC-BE definitively uses less resources on average: MPC-BE x64 | CPU: 0.04% | RAM: 13.49MB | Disk: < 0.1MB/s | VLC media player (x64) | CPU: 0.21% | RAM: 24.72MB | Disk: < 0.1MB/s | I rate this player a rock solid 19/20.
