wiredWM is rav3ndust's personal fork of i3.
It aims to be a tiling window manager that is pre-configured and setup for you with easy keyboard shortcuts, elegant styling, and a curated set of software and applets, with some custom scripts that bind everything together.
wiredWM aims to be the tiling window manager that someone who has never used a tiling window manager can reach for and try out. It has a fast workflow, and some helpful applets and software to enhance your productivity:
- nm-applet (handling network connections)
- flameshot (screenshot functionality)
- deadbeef (lightweight music player)
- meteo-qt (weather app)
- volumeicon (volume control)
- nitrogen (setting wallpapers)
- blueman-applet (handling bluetooth connections)

wiredWM couldn't exist without its parent projects, i3 and sway.
All further enhancements are by rav3ndust.
It's heavily influenced by "Serial Experiments Lain" in our set of wallpapers and custom conky.
