  • Works great on Vista. Impressive project. Good documentation. Keep up the good work.
  • This defragmanter program is very useful. And it is really easy to use.
  • Sensational project and product. This utility did more to improve the performance of my computer than any other single utility I've ever used. The developers are incredibly responsive to feedback and each subsequent version gets increasingly better. The only thing I'm still struggling with is that when using the Full Optimisation, even after running it for days on end, it never seems to get beyond about 5%. Anyone have any ideas how to "motivate" the program to complete the optimisation process? Quick Optimisation finishes in 15 min or so but the Full process never finishes.
  • Nice and easy - I prefer UltraDefrag to bloated and bossy defraggers that stay resident and forcibly install boot-time processes such as the famous PerfectDisk by Razco. This being said, I could suggest a few improvements: - "Close window" button -> minimize to tray (at least as an option) otherwise it's easy to accidentally abort a task, which leaves the disk in a suboptimal state and wastes much time on the next run when one realizes "d'oh, I shut down the defragger!" - Ability to "pause" - as opposed to "stop" - defragmentation, so it can be resumed. - Show which file is being moved/defragged - Ability to locate files on the disk cluster map I very much like the configurability. Well done! Thumbs up :)
  • Good program. Might I suggest that for the next build, you add a feature that shows what the program is defragging?
  • MINIMIZE TO TRAY I would love to see this feature built into UD, it would be more convenient for access without it being accidental, so when can we have it ;o) lol I think if you add this feature alone with background intelligent Defrag then it would be possible for this program to run 24/7 and i for one would certainly be more inclined to support this project, as it is however it still seems lacking, no in Defragmentation but in general ease of use and usability. Thankyou for a great program and hopefully we can see a fully featured update coming soon, til then keep up the great work With Appreciation CEO G Jones (North East Personal Computing) [NEPC] Ltd.
  • Small, fast , free and easy to use. The best defragmenter program and fully x64 compatible!
  • I like it, but I do have a number of pretty strong buts... 1) Stopping optimization followed by a restart will recreate the "big space" all over again, which is hopelessly inefficient 2) The two pass process is too slow, one you have created the first part of the "big space" it should immediately be used to put defragmented files in. 3) The restore point files should be moved to the slowest part of the disk, they are rarely needed
  • It runs great and stefanpe responded to a problem I was having with what seemed like an instantaneous response!
  • Works great! simple and effective. TC
  • Easy to use and fast!
  • Win7 working good, simple and easy
