The Debut Album from Saint Jude navigates between euphoric choral highs and uneasy claustrophobia, all tied together cohesively by the sincerity and vulnerability within Jude’s songwriting and production.

After a budding DJ career was cut short with debilitating tinnitus (a condition severely underdiscussed within his age bracket), Jude turned to more traditional songwriting techniques to express himself; informed by the scenes that soundtrack his South London adolescence. Saint Jude’s long-awaited inaugural live performance took place at Village Underground in September 2022, after working with his team tosecure in-ear monitors that cause minimal aggravation to his tinnitus.

Guest artists on Signal range from the ethereal vocals of Drug Store Romeos’ Sarah Downie, to the unshakable Delaware rapper Zeke Ultra. Names from the capital’s ever-innovative music scene and Jude’s community of friends including Aga Ujma, Louis Culture and Halina also lend their talents to elevate Signal and make for a collaboratively-driven, genre-shunning snapshot of what an album can be in 2022.
