Bath Academy is a small independent college and language school offering programs for students aged 14 to 18. Academic education is based on the British education system, allowing students to complete GCSE and A-Level programs.

The academy's history began in 1997 as an independent boarding school. Bath Academy consists of several academic departments, each specializing in preparing students of different age groups and academic needs. These departments include A-Level, GCSE, University Preparation, the International Medical Foundation program, and English Language courses.

Thanks to the state-of-the-art classroom equipment, students can realize their talents in STEAM subjects. Every year, students come here to gain competitive knowledge in the fields of engineering, mathematics, science, and medicine.

Student life on campuses located in the centre of Bath is reminiscent of university, but with more academic and pastoral support. Students will feel more at ease, take responsibility for their academic and extracurricular progress, while at the same time receiving help from teachers, staff and the principal.

Students aged 14-18 years live in a dormitory in the central part of the city - Oxford House, where there are both double and individual rooms. The bedrooms are well furnished and have central heating. Cleaning and change of linen are provided by the administration. The building is located at a distance of less than a kilometer from the educational complex and the central part of the city.

Three meals a day are available, and breakfast is available on weekends. An individual menu is possible, taking into account religious preferences or diet.

Other accommodation is host families. This allows you to better learn the customs and traditions of life in the UK, get the practice of speaking, get informal contacts. One family accepts no more than three people at a time. Teenagers are provided with three meals a day (the school is responsible for lunches), a bed and the necessary furniture for classes and storage of personal belongings, wireless Internet access.

Finally, students over the age of 18 can be accommodated in dormitories. Young people are offered spacious and bright rooms in studio-type apartments, with an individual bathroom and a balcony or access to an open terrace. The common leisure area includes a TV, a pool table, a small bookcase and upholstered furniture.

As part of the extracurricular development program at Bath Academy, various events and excursions are organized, including theme parties, charity events, movie nights, quizzes, outdoor sports competitions, excursions in and around Bath, and, of course, the annual Prom. These events are not mandatory, and students can choose to attend only those that truly interest them.

Every week, the academic campuses host meetings of thematic clubs that reflect the diverse interests of students. These clubs cover a wide range of topics, from scientific research and charity work to visual and performing arts and healthy lifestyles. Each student will undoubtedly find a group of like-minded individuals to unleash their potential. The main academic building is situated in a Grade II-listed architectural building. In addition to administrative offices and classrooms, this location features a student lounge, computer labs with IT equipment, and a learning center where self-study, individual, and group projects are organized.

The second campus, Chapel Row, is just a short walk from the main campus. This Georgian building is equipped for teaching five classrooms, administrative offices, a student café, and a private garden for outdoor relaxation between classes. It also includes sports halls, open game areas, art studios, event spaces, and meeting rooms for student clubs – everything needed to nurture talents and bring students' ideas to life!

The city of Bath is just an hour and a half by train from London and is well-connected by road and rail networks. Students have the opportunity to travel, explore the attractions of the UK, and enjoy its natural beauty.

The academic year is divided into three trimesters:

1. Autumn: September-December,
2. Spring: January-March,
3. Summer: April-July.

During the trimesters, there are breaks on weekends and on national and international holidays, such as Christmas and Easter.

Classes are held on weekdays, from Monday to Friday. The schedule varies depending on the class level. After classes, students can attend campus events, participate in activities organized by thematic clubs, or engage in self-study.

In case a student needs a visa, the school can provide the necessary documents in advance.

Bath Academy admits approximately 120 new students annually, with 60% coming from the UK and the remaining 40% from other countries. Bath Academy positions itself as a non-selective institution, so it accepts new students in a queue format. Foreign applicants should provide:

• Academic: assessment report card from the previous place of study, exam results,
• Individual achievements, if available: certificates, diplomas, letters of recommendation,
• Certificate of English proficiency: IELTS from 5.0-6.0 depending on the stage of school education. The older the class, the stricter the academic plan, so it is recommended that the prospective student have a conversational level of English.

Bath Academy does not have its own scholarship programs, but its students can participate in the CIFE social program, which annually awards the most successful students. She also draws attention to students in need, such as Syrian refugees.
