This collection contains Margaret Hughes' class notebook for California School of Mechanical Arts first-year course of plain sewing (practice pieces) and a 1914 dedication program for the Lux School of Industrial Training. The notebook contains sewing instructions and samples of her work. A 22 x 12 inch stitch sampler on green cloth is laid in.
