MSCHF nor Crocs are strangers to controversy, but how divisive could things get if they collaborated?
During Paris Fashion Week, Estonian rapper, Tommy Cash, gave the world a glimpse of a joint-effort between MSCHF and Crocs. Reminiscent of the former’s BIG RED BOOTS, which penetrated the mainstream footwear zeitgeist, the unreleased project features design cues from Crocs’ ever-popular Classic Clog. A series of perforations appear across the bulk of the upper, with the crocodile-branded “sport mode” strap reprising its role at the heel. The highly-breathable silhouette, however, dons a tall profile, seemingly borrowing the BIG RED BOOTS’ collar. MSCHF and Crocs’ unnamed (at the time of this writing) collaboration takes on an all-yellow color scheme that further draws attention to the pair.
No firm details about the project have been disclosed, but that’s likely to change before summer ends. In the meantime, enjoy an early look at the tall Crocs Clog by MSCHF ahead.
