## About

Creating clear, accessible pathways into the open source ecosystem. We help learners
turn their knowledge into practice, discover their strengths, and understand how
their contributions can make a real impact.

Through hands-on programs and supportive communities, we empower people to grow
new skills and take their first steps as contributors to the WordPress ecosystem.

Across campuses and communities worldwide, participants gain practical experience,
publish real projects, and build confidence as contributors to a global culture
of open source creation.

Learn.
Build.Connect.

## Our Mission

We aim to bring WordPress education directly to students on campus, empowering them
to discover the platform's potential for their studies and future careers. We strive
to bridge the gap between the classroom and the global WordPress community, fostering
connections that inspire growth and opportunity.

## The Initiatives

WordPress Education offers three core initiatives, each one provides practical ways
for learners to develop skills, connect with the community, and contribute to open
source projects.

**[WordPress Campus Connect](https://sq-xk.wordpress.org/education/campus-connect/?output_format=md)**

The initiative brings WordPress to universities through hands-on events that connect
students with professionals and introduce them to open source collaboration.

[[

**[Student Clubs](https://sq-xk.wordpress.org/education/student-clubs/?output_format=md)**

Student Clubs expand the other initiatives by building on-campus WordPress communities
that keep students learning, collaborating, and growing continuously.

[[

**[WordPress Credits](https://sq-xk.wordpress.org/education/credits/?output_format=md)**

WordPress Credits partners with educational institutions to integrate WordPress
into their curriculum, giving students resources, training, and recognition for
contributing to real-world nonprofit projects.
