Vlinders tijdens kaartenparty - butterflies during card party

Gisteren was een heel geslaagde dag. Ik ging al vroeg op pad en iets voor 9u begon ik reeds mijn tafels aan te kleden en de voorbeelden een mooi plekje te geven. Een paar producten erbij leggen, zodat het allemaal duidelijker wordt. De voorbeelden spreken vaak voor zich en in elk geval levert het een paar workshops op, dus dat is leuk. Spontaan begon ik ook met de daubers de mooie grote Swallowtail stempel in te kleuren en deze op onze minikaartjes te stempelen. Er kwam spontaan wow bij toeschouwers en Marianne vroeg of ik er een aantal voor haar kon maken. Ja hoor, tuurlijk, een paar in rode, oranje tint en een paar in blauwe tinten. De vlinder blijft toch wel een beetje mijn favoriete stempel. Wil jij ook deze techniek eens leren, stuur mij een berichtje.

Yesterday I was up very early and around 9 am I already put all my examples on the tables with some products of course so people could see what I do and what Stampin'Up! is.  Spontaneously I grabbed my daubers and the swallowtail and started colouring and stamping on our mini cards. And people stopped to watch it and see how I did it and Marianne wanted some red/orange and some blue ones, so I made them for her. It was a very nice day and I enjoyed every moment of it.

The Sky is the limit

Deze keer presenteer ik jullie een paar dingen namelijk de prachtige embossing folder World Traveller die ik slechts deels heb gebruikt voor de bovenzijde van mijn doosje. Ik heb met daubers wat kleur aangebracht zodat land en zee duidelijk zichtbaar is en voor de zijkanten heb ik de In the Meadow set gebruikt, deze heb ik dan weer met de blender kleur van wat extra kleur voorzien. De tekst The Sky is the Limit en het vliegtuig komen uit een SAB set dat slechts heel kort beschikbaar is. Dus wil jij dit set te pakken krijgen, kijk in de catalogussen en heb jij wensen voor 60 euro of meer, dan kan die setje van jou worden.

This time I present you a few things, first of all the World Traveller Embossing folder which I used only partly for the top of my box. I used some daubers to colour the sea and land and for the sides I used the In the Meadow set where I used the blender pen to give it some extra dimension. The text and the air plane comes from a SAB set which is only available a very short time.

Lief hertje - Little Deer

Ik ben nog steeds in de ban van baby's lijkt het wel dus ik doe nog even verder met babykaartjes maken. Deze keer bijna identieke kaartjes doch met een subtiel verschil. De ene keer heb ik de harten gestempeld met de set Perpetual Birthday Calendar, de andere keer heb ik de mask Hearts & Stars gebruikt. Het lieve hertje komt uit de set Made with love, een wel heel toepasselijke titel en de kleine sterretjes die ik in dezelfde tint stempelde komen ook uit dit set. Het rondje heb ik met een Wobble op de kaart geplaatst zodat er ook nog eens beweging in zit. 

I am still working on Baby cards, this time two almost identical ones. One with a background I stamped with the hearts from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar and one where I used the mask Hearts & Stars. The little deer is from the set Made with love, I adore it. The round is put on the card with a wobble so there is a bit of movement in it.

Herfstgroeten - Autumn greetings

Onlangs maakte ik deze herfstkaart met de nieuwste embossing mal van SU in combinatie met de bijhorende stempels. Hier is weer een bundel van te bestellen, ik koos voor de Duitse teksten, in de catalogus zien jullie de Engelse teksten staan. De lucht en de bomen even met daubers bewerkt, voor de rest een paar kleine blaadjes apart gestempeld en opgekleefd. Ik ben tevreden met dit werkje. Weer eens wat anders hé.

Recently I made this autumn card with the newest embossing template from SU in combination with the stamps. I bought the German version, but in the catalogue you can find the Englisch textes. The air and the trees have some colour which I added with the daubers. And some little leaves were stamped seperately and put extra on the card. Something totally different also.

Eendje - ducky

Met de prachtige kleuren inkt van SU kan je natuurlijk ook met sjablonen spelen die je al jaren in je kast hebt liggen. Zo had ik een leuk sjabloon van een eendje, je moest het zelf samenstellen, dus kon je elk onderdeel van een aparte kleur voorzien indien gewenst. Ik heb met de daubers dus de nodige kleur aangebracht en daarna op het nieuwste taupe cardstock met taupe de takjes van World of dreams gestempeld. Een eenvoudig en rustig kaartje.

With the beautiful colours of ink of SU you can play with templates you have from the past. I had a template with a duck and with some daubers I added the colours. I then took the taupe cardstock and added the little flowers from World of dreams with taupe ink on the card. A quick and simple card.

Minikaartje grote bloem - Mini card big flower

Ja, zo lijkt het wel hé een minikaartje met een grote bloem. Het kaartje is 10x10 centimeter en de mooie grote bloem van de Flower patch set past er perfect op. Ik heb hem in melon mambo een paar maal gestempeld, vervolgens in stukjes geknipt om hem 3D te maken en een paar blaadjes er achter. De kleinere blaadjes zijn gemaakt met de perpetual birthday calendar set. Natuurlijk hou ik van wat extra accenten dus ik heb de randen met de daubers aangezet. En binnenin heb ik de tekst van de Flower patch set geplaatst alsook nog een paar takjes.

 Yes, it looks like a mini card with a very big flower. The card is not big, it is only 10x10 centimeter. The big flower from the flower patch set fits perfectly. I stamped it a few times in melon mambo and cut it then to put it as a 3D flower. Some leaves behind it and some little leaves from the perpetual birthday calendar and of course some bordering with the daubers to finish it of. Inside I put the text form the flower patch set and some little leaves.

Weekly deal gift punch board - square dies

Deze week staan oa de gift punch board en de vierkante stansen in de weekly deals. Wie deze te pakken wil krijgen, dat kan, morgen doe ik een bestelling de deur uit. Ik maakte met de square dies de dekseltjes van deze doosjes en het onderste doosje werd gemaakt met de gift punch board. Op het onderste doosje heb ik met de daubers en het masker Hearts & stars de sterretjes aangebracht, voor het bovenste doosje heb ik met de brayer het mooie SAB design papier een kleurtje gegeven. Het zijn eenvoudige doosjes, doch recht uit het hart gemaakt.

This week in the weekly deals we see the square dies and the gift punch board. I wanted to make something with them. I saw it somewhere on internet and made some boxes with it. The big box is done with the gift punch board. The lids are made with the square dies. For the big box I used some daubers and the mask hearts & stars to put the nice melon mambo stars on the paper and for the smaller box I used the SAB design paper and the brayer to colour that paper. I love both boxes, both are made with love for simple presents.

Doosje met drie kaartjes en enveloppen - Box with three cards and envelops

Deze keer heb ik een wat groter project gemaakt namelijk een doosje met drie kaartjes en bijhorende envelopjes. Ik heb hiervoor de kleine kaartjes en envelopjes van SU gebruikt en daarop  heb ik verschillende technieken toegepast zodat ik tijdens een workshop de deelnemers kan laten kennis maken met de sponstechniek, het werken met de brayer en de blenderpen, en het gebruik van de stamp-a-ma-jig in combinatie met 2 step stempels. Het doosje is gemaakt van een gift enclosure card die ik een paar extra rillijnen heb gegeven zodat er drie kaartjes in kunnen. Ik heb gewerkt met twee stempelsets namelijk de summer silhouettes en de flowershop. Aan de voorkant van het doosje nog een mooie grote vlinder en een stukje lint, tja wil jij het proberen, geef dan een seintje.

This time I made a bigger project which will be the basis for a workshop where I learn the participants different techniques: working with the blender pen and brayer,  sponging techniques, and using the stamp-a-ma-jig in combination with two step stamp sets. I started with the gift enclosure card where I scored some extra lines to make a box of it. Then I used the little cards and envelops from SU and I used the following stamp set: Summer silhouettes, Flowershop and Perpetual Birthday calendar. Curious what you think of it.

Valentijn - Valentine

Het is valentijnsdag en wat is er mooier dan een leuke valentijnskaart voor een geheime geliefde? Ik koos voor de set Groovy Love om de 3D harten te maken, ook de tekst komt uit dit set. Met het masker van hartjes heb ik eerst een achtergrond gesponst en vervolgens de sluiting die ik maakte met de scalloped tag topper punch ook nog eens dicht geknoopt met een stukje lint waar ik twee mini hartjes aan heb gehangen. Dit komt echt uit diepste van mijn hart.

It is valentines day and what is nicer as a cute Valentines card for a secret lover? I chose the set Groovy love to create the 3D hearts. The text is from the same set. I sponged the small hearts with a mask and a dauber. The closure was made with the scalloped tag topper punch and on that piece of ribbon I put two little hearts. This card really comes from the deepest of my heart.

Vuurtoren - Light house

De trappenkaart is leuk om te maken en is echt weer eens iets anders. Dus als voorbereiding voor 13 januari hier nog een voorbeeldje. De vogels komen uit de Wetlands, werden weer met wat kleur voorzien met de daubers en spons techniek. Ook het tafereeltje met de vuurtoren, wat uit een andere set komt van een ander Canadees merk, heb ik op dezelfde manier uitgewerkt.

The step card is fun to make and is something different. In preparation for 13 January I made another example, not totally SU as the light house is from another brand, but the sponging technique is used again.

Pinguins - Penguins

Nu mag ik de screen reeds met jullie delen. Ik maakte  hem voor Matty, zij is helemaal gek van pinguins dus een screen met pinguins met de sponstechniek was ideaal voor de kerst. De kaart werd gemaakt op een tijdstip waar even de inspiratie ontbrak, dus het is ontstaan met hulp van vele anderen die steeds weer de tips gaven wat er nog ontbrak. Ik heb eerst de pinguins gestempeld (deze zijn niet van SU) en met de markers een beetje kleur gegeven. Vervolgens heb ik het screen gemaakt, een mooi landschap gesponst en op aanraden van mijn echtgenoot werden een paar sterren toegevoegd. Vermits het nog te kaal was, zocht ik nog verder en uit de Snowflake thinlit dies heb ik de woorden Brrr en snow gehaald en nu is hij ook echt af. Een echt winterstafereeltje.

Now I can show you all this screen as I made if for Matty who loves penguins. I used the sponging technique of course. The card was made when I did not have much inspiration so I have to thank all those who gave me some tips to finish it. First I stamped the penguins (not from SU) and with the markers I gave them some colour. Then I made the screen where I sponged a landscape and my husband told me to add a few stars. But a friend told me it was still not good, so I searched and found the words on the snowflake thinlit dies to add those. So now it is a snowy landscape.

Geschenkenvelop - Gift envelop

Deze keer heb ik een geschenkenvelop van kraft papier van Stampin'Up! gepimpt. Ik heb gekozen voor de Lovely as a tree set. De lucht heb ik gesponst, een techniek die heel subtiel is en een heel mooi resultaat oplevert.

This time I changed a gift envelop from kraft paper from Stampin'Up!. I used the Lovely as a tree set in combination with the sponging techniques, which is subtle for the sky and gives a nice result.
