Stampendous P107 !!

Happy Monday peeps, hope you all had a good weekend.

Not a lot to report from this end and before anyone asks, no the decorating is not finished, still very much work in progress. I just don't know how these jobs can take so long, was the time when I'd have had the job whipped in a day. So a swift crafty share or two so I can get on top of my office work.........does help when the boss is hubby........and hopefully slope off early to have another stab at the decorating.

My first card is a little bit of indulgence with all time favourite stamp Stampanedous P107........I know all you ladies who come to my classes and demos will have a little grin here..............stamped with Big and Juicy spice and embossed with detail clear and Hero Arts S5316 silhouette grass stamped in the background. Distressed round the edges, a punched flower liberally spritzed with Glimmer Mist pearl and one of the new Kaiser DP's. The sentiment is Hero CG189. This card is for the following challenges:

Paper Playtime - PS I love you - Stampendous P107 of course
One Stitch at a Time - Favourite colours

My second share is yet another easel card.......at least the shape is different...... I started by spritzing the background with Glimmer Mist electric blue and honey dew mist then stamped Penny Black 3880K Fantasy with versafine black, embossed with detail clear and added sparkle with stickles. I am not certain, but I think the pretty glittery DP is K&Co and the sentiment is Penny Black 4116G.

Wild Orchid - Blue Christmas
Pollycraft - Glittery Christmas
Crafty Pad - Christmas Sparkle
Crafty Calendar - Winter with snowflake option (they are on the border)
Paper Sundaes - Topping bar ( punches, ribbon embossing and the colour blue - full house and a huge Sundae !)

Chocolate wonders

How's every one's day going ?

These are a couple of pictures I've been meaning to share since we came back from holiday in August. They are all chocolate and featured on the dessert tables at brunch. I never actually got to try either as I was always totally stuffed by the time they were cut.

Been oh so busy at work which means not much crafting which is just typical with Christmas orders piling up and another wedding.....not my favourite pastime if I'm honest, I don't enjoy the monotony of repetitive crafting, but needs must. So just a couple of shares today.

The first one is following a lovely sketch at Midnight Madness......if you have never entered go check them out as they have some brilliant sketches. I used some gorgeous glittery My Minds Eye DP for both the base of the card and for the decoupages flowers. The backgrond was created using Tim Holtz sage and linen and Glimmer Mist gold, overstamped with Hero Arts H2356 old French writing using the TH sage, them stamping Hero Arts S5362 dogwood. I coloured the leaves with Copics, then spritzed the cut our flowers with Glimmer Mist pearl and shaped whilst still wet. I added crystals to the centres of the flowers, some ribbon and a couple of slides. This card is for the following challenges:

Spoonful of Sugar - Sparkle and Shine
Scrapbook Sisters - Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend

My second card uses Penny Black 40-024 rain or shine as the main image, coloured with Copics and decoupaged with three layers. The DP is Nitwits, some swirls cut from Sizziz dies and flowers from stash. This card is for the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly - Birthday Blog hop and choose any theme from previous challenges - I went for 'Check it Out'

And finally a little box or rather tin, coloured with alcohol inks, overstamped with various Magenta stamps and embossed with detail gold. Inside a little collection of pictures from around the world held together with ribbon. This is for the following challenge:

Tuesday Taggers - Pandora's Box

Fairies and flowers

How is everyone ? Have you all got this rain as well ? If they talk about droughts now, I think I'll throw something at the TV, to have such green lush paddocks in August is unheard of and utterly bizarre.

I have two shares today, the first is one of the very special birthday cards I have been making for Anysia's 18th on Sunday..............45 peeps coming for a barbie, well that's the plan anyway. Thankfully my mate Mark Spencer.......for those of you not familiar with him he also goes under the guise of M&S......... is doing most of the catering so it just needs collecting and the boys love cooking barbies, so I figure all that leaves for me is to do is make a bowl or two of my famous punch. Why is it famous you ask......nobody can ever remember drinking it !

So the card, another of the gorgeous Sweet Pea Stamps called Black Rose, stamped with versafine black and embossed with detail clear, coloured with Copis and generously glittered and embellished. The DP is Kaiser and the border punched with my new Martha Stewart floral vine punch.

I added lace and vellum butterflies cut with Martha Stewart small monarch. The flowers are a mixture of Magnolia and from stash, plus liberal helpings of pearls.

This card is for the following challenges:

Sweet Pea Stamps: Lace and Pearls
Stamp with Fun: Card for a Girl
Charisma Cardz: Hot Hot Hot
C.R.A.F.T: Milestone Birthdays

My second card above is a really quick plain and simple one but I quite like the clean lines. I cut squares on my guillotine and stamped a variety of stamps using Tim Holtz olive and stormy sky and embossed with iridescent powder. I distressed the edges slightly and matted onto blue and green co0ordinating cardstock.

This card is for the following challenges:

Cupcake: Blue and Green
Cut Card Thursday: Dieing for a Punch
