{October 2019 to June 2020 Term} Re-Introducing the STAMPlorations Design Team!

Hey, STAMPlorations friends! After a much needed summer break, the STAMPlorations girls are rarin' to get back to business here on the blog! Our challenges resume in October.

You'll see familiar faces -- but we've re-organized a little bit, as we have streamlined our challenges. And so I'd like to re-introduce the STAMPlorations design team. I am excited to have these lovely and talented ladies back, as they each have something to offer. They have impressed me with their work and I'm so looking forward to having them share their creative talents once again.

Introducing the New Mixed Media Design Team Members

Once again, I'd like to thank those who responded to the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Design Team call I put out in May. I received 30+ applications and just like all my previous calls, it was no easy task to pick the design team members.

Without further ado, here are our newest mixed media design team members. They're incredibly talented and their audition projects were impressive. They officially start their term in July and they'll be joining Asmah, Carol, Tanja, and Susanne, who are continuing for another term. Irit and Kim J. are moving on, while Lee-Anne is taking a much needed break from blogging.

Introducing the CAS (Clean and Simple) Design Team!

For the Anchored mini release hop + comment to win, click here. (ends 12/18)
For the Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers blog hop, click here (ends 12/19)

I would like to thank everyone who responded to the STAMPlorations CAS Design Team call I put out back in November. I received 78 applications and I gotta tell you...it was not easy to come up with a shortlist, as there were way too many awesome CAS cards submitted.

In order to come to a fair decision, I asked applicants to submit photos of their CAS cards with no personal or identifying watermarks. And so I didn't know who made which card as I created a shortlist of 15. Then I asked the current design team members to vote on their top picks. Their votes, David's (the other half of STAMPlorations) votes, and my votes were tallied.

I'm proud to reveal the 5 talented ladies joining STAMPlorations and who will be leading the CAS card challenge we're starting in 2016! They officially start their term as challenge design team members in January, and I'm excited to have them sharing their creativity and talents here on the STAMPlorations blog. So here they are. Please welcome each one of them and I hope you can stop by their blogs!

Introducing the Mixed Media Design Team!

Thank you to everyone who responded to the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Design Team call we put out in April.

With so many applications to sift through (a whopping 114!), it wasn't an easy task to pick the design team members. In order to come to a fair decision, I did blind judging. That is, I asked applicants to submit project photos without any watermark or identifying information to tell me who they are.

I'm proud to reveal the 7 talented ladies joining STAMPlorations. They officially start their term as mixed media design team members in July, and I'm excited to have them sharing their creativity and talents here on the STAMPlorations blog. Here they are. Please welcome each one of them and I hope you can stop by their blogs!

Introducing the Inspiration Design Team!

A couple of weeks ago, you met our fabulous new Challenge Design Team. Now I'm here to introduce you to the Inspiration Design Team.

The girls joining me in this team are no strangers to you -- you've seen their work in our challenges. This year we're making a few changes to the blog and fine-tuning things...all with the main goal of providing loads of paper craft inspiration to you: our loyal friends, followers, customers. I'm so happy they have decided to continue with STAMPlorations this year and share their creative talents here on the blog.

CORNELIA DEBRA
DEEPTI

MARIA

MONIKA

SHIRLEY

VICKI

SHERY

Cornelia has a knack for using stamps in creative, unexpected ways, and Debra is one mean Copic coloring queen. Deepti never fails to create cards with well-executed designs, and when it comes to hip, modern, trendy, and/or chic cards, Maria is the girl to beat. Monika creates not just cards but all sorts of paper craft projects and shares her process and techniques in her awesome video tutorials. Shirley can turn any card into a work of art, and Vicki creates the most bold, vibrant, and beautiful layered cards I've ever seen on blogland.

While they each have a distinctive style and approach to cardmaking, collectively they work so beautifully together and perfectly reflect the style and vision I have for STAMPlorations.

And so on the 2nd and 4th Mondays and Fridays of the month starting this February, the Inspiration Design Team will be providing inspiration right here on the blog through the Inspiration Project Posts. And we'd like you, our fellow paper crafters, to come play with us in the Inspiration CASE Playground. Each Inspiration Project Post will include an invitation to CASE any of the projects we make and link it up to the Playground gallery, which will be open for a whole month. Everyone is welcome to play using whatever supplies you have on hand. And oh yes, we will randomly draw one winner to win a prize, as well as highlight the best CASEs :o)

Not sure how CASEing works? We've got that covered! On the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls will be sharing their CASEs of some of their favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Be sure to stop by the blog on February 1st for the first installment. CASEplorations will serve as a starting off point for our Inspiration Project Posts. We show you how we CASE a card so you can, in turn, CASE the cards we share throughout the month. Fun, yes?

We can't wait for February to come! But we can't say goodbye to January until we've had our Stamp Release Spotlight Week blog hop! So stay tuned because this fun event starts Monday, January 26, at 6 a.m. PST (GMT-8) and will last all week! We hope to see you!

Introducing the Challenge Design Team!

We'd like to thank everyone who responded to the STAMPlorations Challenge Design Team call we put out back in November.

In order to come to a fair decision, we asked applicants to create a project using the images we provided and submit a photo of their project with no personal watermarks. We then did a blind voting to come up with the final roster. None of us knew who made which project. After I had narrowed down the list to 17, I asked the current design team members to vote on their top picks. Their votes, David's (the other half of STAMPlorations) votes, and my votes were tallied.

I'm proud to reveal the 6 talented ladies joining STAMPlorations! They officially start their term as challenge design team members in February, and I'm excited to have them sharing their creativity and talents here on the STAMPlorations blog. So here they are. Please welcome each one of them and I hope you can stop by their blogs!

Meet Our New Design Team Member: Deepti

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that we are welcoming a new STAMPlorations girl. She's been a guest designer here a couple of times and you've seen how she rocked our stamps when she joined us in celebrating our birthday last month. I can't be any more pleased to have her in the team, as she's one of my favorite card-makers. Please welcome Deepti Malik!

"Hi! I am from India and moved to Cleveland, Ohio after marrying my dear husband in 2011. My hobby used to be sketching prior to paper crafting. It all started with making some new year cards for family in 2013, to Pinterest, to Paper crafting magazine and finally to the wonderful world of blogging... I have been hooked ever since and to be precise I have been making cards for 18 months now. All the rest of my hobbies have taken a back seat LOL! My crafting style is CAS and what makes my cards unique is that I always try to make my designs meaningful. Besides card-making, I often try my hands on canvas paintings, pastels and pencil sketches. In my free time you will find me watching thriller series/movies ;) You name it and I must have seen it! I am so thankful to Shery for putting her faith in me and bringing me on board :) I hope I will be able to inspire you."

Please give Deepti a warm welcome and check out her blog. We're so excited to have her on the team and she joins us tomorrow when we start Sketch Challenge #16.

Meet Our New Design Team Member: Sandie

And here's our last design team introduction. Many of you know her already because she's been wonderful at visiting and commenting on our challenge participants' projects over the last couple of months. (And hey, I see the acronym "CAS" and her name is one of the names that pop into mind right off the bat.)

This month, Sandie officially joins us in the STAMPlorations design team!

"Hi there! I'm Sandie and I am passionate about making cards. I started crafting a few years ago and once I started I couldn't stop! My style is Clean and Simple. I am happiest when I have created a card with just stamp and ink and lots of white space, although you will see some bling and the odd ribbon now and then. When I am not crafting, I like to walk, grow my own vegetable, and watch movies. I live in London and I love to explore all that it has to offer!"

Please give Sandie a warm welcome and check out her blog! We're very excited to have her on the team and she joins us tomorrow when we start Sketch Challenge #7!

Meet Our New Design Team Member: Maria

This month, Maria officially joins us in the STAMPlorations design team!

"Guten Tag, I'm Maria and I'm an American gal living in Germany - came for a job, stayed for a guy! I have two teenagers, two rabbits and recently added a dog to the family. I've always loved to make things and thought I'd attempt scrapbooking a few years ago. But I got detoured by cardmaking - the smaller canvas is less intimidating - and even started blogging about two years ago. I love challenges and submitting for publications."

Please give Maria a warm welcome and check out her blog! We're very excited to have her on the team and she joins us tomorrow when we start Sketch Challenge #5!

Meet Our New Design Team Member: Cornelia

We have 3 new designers joining us and we're introducing one of them: Cornelia.

"It was my sister who got me into stamping about 3 years ago, but I got totally hooked a little over a year ago, when I started blogging. I went all out: took some classes, spent countless hours on the internet getting inspired and learning from all the skilled card-makers that are out there. I started dreaming about cards! My style is mainly CAS, but I like to experiment at times and dabble in different styles."

Please give Cornelia a warm welcome! We're very excited to have her on the team and she officially joins us tomorrow when we start Sketch Challenge #4!

Meet Our New Design Team Members

We are ringing in the New Year in a big way! On Friday, when our January Challenge starts, Nonni and I will be joined by 5 incredibly creative ladies in the design team. We thought we'd introduce them and give them a warm welcome.

"I work part-time at a primary school and when I'm not spending time with my family, you will find me playing, colouring, and creating in my craft room. This wonderful hobby has given me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful crafty and talented people all around the world."

"I started making cards about 2 years ago when I attended a card making class thanks to my mum. The rest is history. I created a blog and started meeting the most amazing people from all over the world. Some of my best friends I haven't even met (YET!!). I love learning new techniques and love the inspiration that comes from following other blogs."

"Whilst at heart I am a stamper, I also love to explore different products and techniques to make cards, boxes, mini books and projects for home décor. I like to share my skills with others through running crafting classes, sending projects I made to magazines (some of which have been published), entering competitions and blogging."

"I love the versatility and flexibility of using stamps to create a project that can be as simple or elaborate as I like. I’m especially happy when I’m adding Distress Inks into the mix. I do CAS, I do messy, and sometimes I do messy CAS!"

"Hi my name is Vicki Dutcher and I have been stamping for about 20 years. I started [as most] by going to a SU party and was hooked from there! I played in stamping until I found SCS about 6 years ago. Once I had that resource, my stamping took off! Hence the blog name All I Do Is Stamp."

We are so excited to have Debra, Kylie, Monika, Shirley, and Vicki on the team and we can't wait to show you their projects for this month! Tomorrow, we'll announce the December Challenge winner and top picks and then on Friday, the January Challenge starts at 6 AM PST! Until then, happy crafting!
