• Bicycle Trailer – significantly expanded functionality for more depth and dynamic gameplay:

• Passengers now place a bicycle on the trailer when boarding. The probability depends on the weather and temperature.

• Added “Bing” bell sound.

• When passengers get off, certain bicycles are randomly selected for unloading, including a wobble animation.

• Added “Kling-Klong” bell sound.

• A warning bell now sounds if you forget to load or unload bicycles.

• Bicycles that were not unloaded remain at the stop for a certain distance and can still be loaded afterwards.

• The driver must take care of “ownerless” bicycles that were not unloaded despite the passenger wanting them to be.

• Added a physics-based side panel.

• The side panel can now be raised or lowered by holding down the button.

• Warning: If the side panel is not locked, bicycles can fall off the trailer when driving at higher speeds!

• Added “Ring-Ring” bell sound.

• AI bicycle touring buses also transport bicycles.

• Adjusted the window control triggers for keyboard and hardware operation.

Today, we are announcing a new bus add-on for the Omnibus Simulator: the ADL Enviro500. The release is planned for Q4 2026, and the Steam store page is now live!

Especially interesting for owners of the OMSI 2 Add-on Berlin Linie 186: At release, a Steam bundle will be available, allowing you to purchase the new ADL Enviro500 at a discounted price.

The ADL Enviro500 is part of the new generation of Berlin double-decker buses.
Since 2022, production vehicles have been in regular service on the Berlin public transport network operated by Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG).

For OMSI 2, the Berlin version of the double-decker is being recreated based on official plans and documentation. The vehicle is officially licensed by Alexander Dennis Limited.

BVG bus drivers who are familiar with the real Enviro500 from their daily work are also supporting the development.
