"Just don't step on them and get good" is not an answer. I'm talking about dealing with them emotionally. Whenever I either stumble on them, or see them already on the map, it makes me sad that it's just going to keep hitting me every few turns with no way to respond. It is not fun....

I'm running on an older Windows PC. I see the bouncing bomb icon,, then a purple splash screen with logos, and then the screen goes black. There is music playing and clicking in the right-hand corner exits, so I think the game is running but maybe in a video mode that I can't handle. I tried reinstalling + verifying the install. Is there any way to debug this issue or force a start in a different screen mode?...

The other two classes available so far, both have a simple way to do it - one refills when opening tiles, the other at the start of the battle. And Oracle - who really needs energy to play? - just doesn't?
