Reinstall help

So, I took a small break from TOS and uninstalled the game, which was working fine before I did. But I felt the itch to come back after a bit and reinstalling the game...well, it's become frustrating. The launcher will pop up and after a few seconds, I will get the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 redistributable (x64) installation. I have done everything I know to do: uninstalled and reinstalled C++, repaired it, just closed it, uninstall and reinstall the game, googled the issue to multiple reddit forums,...

Interested in starting, any advice?

New player here. long ago played Ragnarok, Tibia, Runescape, Cabal (still playing this one), Aion. Pretty much like good old grinding games with either fun classes or world to explore. Looking for something to drop hundreds of hours while grinding and as im gacha player, i dont really mind microtransactions of lootboxes. What servers are popular nowadays? Is there any EU ones still around?...

The optimization of the game is really bad, I always have a lot of freezes and I honestly tried, but failed to find how to fix it... Seems the developers don't want you to feel comfy and joyful while playing. Though the atmosphere, the vibe and graphics are really nice, leaving you with a good mood, making you feel nostalgy about good times of RO, I'd even say, ToS is what ROII should visually look like, however, after several years and huge updates the game became spoiled, there is no place for adventuring, discovering. The whole process is about the endgame, in-game store and all this weird stuff which never makes a game to be better, to feel better for a player, imho.
