This game took me 6 years to finish. But this time I saw it through. Control is weird.

6 years... so I played bits of the game on several builds. 2080ti at launch, then a 3090 then a 4090, and now on a 5090. The game always ran very smooth in either of them.

Control is a great game with amazing visuals, fun combat, and a really strange story. The gameplay is addictive, but the story gets so weird that I honestly have no idea what the devs were smoking when they wrote it. I imagine this is what an acid trip feels like. Wish they made movies out of this.

The weirdness is part of what makes Control so memorable. Definitely worth playing.

Sidenote: I remember Control on PC being the 1st ever game to launch with DLSS 2.0 support. That said, for better or for worse, I find it odd that the sequel won't support DLSS 5.

Before I played this... I had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.
