There's a lot of criticism surrounding this game. And much of it is justified, at least to some degree. Whether that criticism is important to you or not - well, that is for you to decide. It's different for everyone. Many complain about the controls, while I just don't have a big problem with them. Works fine.

This is a huge open world that feels very alive (both visually and in terms of NPCs and what's happening everywhere). You have the freedom to do what you want. And to go where you want. Enemies are not levelling with you, so there will be easy ones in certain areas and much harder ones in other areas. Which I personally much prefer. Traversal feels good, especially with both a horse and a (very limited) flying ability very early on.

Exploration is what it's all about. If you enjoy just wandering off in one direction and seeing what you can find - this might be the game for you. Whenever I follow a quest marker, I can rarely ever arrive there without checking out several other things along the way.

The aesthetic is mostly medieval high fantasy with trolls and such. But there's also robots, shotguns, flying high-tech looking platforms, magic. Definitely very interesting.

If you can think of a system that you've seen in an open world game - it's probably in here as well. The game is full of systems (some say too many) like crafting, cooking, horses, horse waggons, trading, stealth combat, crime, hunting, having a home base, decorating your home, several playable characters, a bank that's basically a stock market, sending your homies on missions, having animal companions - and probably a lot more. I am 20 hours in and feel as if I merely scratched the surface.

It may not be for everyone, but at the moment I enjoy the hell out of this game. First open world game I play in years, and so far it's a lot of fun.

It's once again a great puzzle platformer with good (not perfect) controls, great visuals, awesome music (same basic theme as last time), an interesting story and very cool puzzles that involve controlling multiple characters with different skills.

If you liked the first one, you'll love this one as well. It's more of the same, but I feel with better puzzle design (if memory serves, the first one was a long time ago).

Highly recommended!

The 97% positive reviews are not lying. This is a brilliant, tense point 'n click adventure with a great story full of surprises and twists, supported by really good voice acting and a fitting visual presentation. The puzzles were all completely logical, which is rare among adventure games.

It is definitely on the easier side, but I found that not getting stuck only helps the pace of the story. I hope we see more like this from these devs. They definitely know how to make a great adventure game.

Needless to say, this is absolutely worth the full asking price.

Early Access Review
I bought this mainly for the campaign. I get that plans can change during EA. But removing something as significant as the campaign mode is just wrong on every level. Please reconsider, Kunos!

If this was based on too little engagement - consider that your game is EA. You already wiped progress once and might do it again. Do you expect people to invest their time into a mode, fully knowing all progress might be wiped again? On top of that the mode is just not good at the moment. It's barebones and not balanced. You give way too little XP and money, but have added new cars that are basically impossible to get. If you add a car for 5 million dollars, but then only give me a few hundred per race - I lose interest in the mode. Doesn't mean I don't want a proper campaign. But so far you have not given that to us. We were waiting to get that at some point, actually.

After almost 2 years they still haven't implemented Ultrawide support. I can't recommend this game to anyone with a UW display because of that. It's truly a shame, I expected more from Supermassive.

They did it again. It's a masterpiece. Fantastic game design, engaging puzzles, stunning visuals, great sound design - I don't have a single bad thing to say about this gem.

I had this game for many years, and I really don't know why I didn't finish the campaign back then. But I finally did it now, and I have to say it's a fantastic action sci-fi campaign. Controls are top-notch. The gunplay feels very nice. Story is decent enough for an action game (certainly more entertaining than your average CoD story). Graphics are still great, and it runs at like 600fps with modern hardware (stutter-free!). Sound is great, voice-over is very good. Both the regular fps sections and the titan sections are very enjoyable. The campaign is 6 hours long and doesn't overstay its welcome. I think this is a perfect length for this kind of action campaign.

Highly recommended.

Planet of Lana is a great game. Gorgeous, great atmosphere, very well done sound and music, nice gameplay. The platforming is very enjoyable, but rather easy (I would have preferred it to be a bit more challenging at times). The puzzles are nice. Story telling is fantastic. The whole thing with controlling your buddy to solve puzzles works quite well. The game has almost flawless Ultrawide support (love the properly letterboxed cutscenes).

If you like this kind of game, you will not be disappointed. You get 4h of a very enjoyable and at times very intense adventure, and the game is very much worth the money.

In these times where AAA games are constantly disappointing - at least on a technical level and sometimes even gameplay-wise (looking at you, Redfall and Gollum) - this is a refreshing and technically flawless experience that deserves to be bought at full price.

Yeah, it's really good. If you liked Portal, you will enjoy this one. The time mechanic is a cool concept. The puzzles are fun. Presentation and story are great. This game deserves your money.
