Hello, and thanks for reading my profile. My name is (Sùyīn). I am Taiwanese, born in Taiwan, and living in the UK now. Yes, the weather is exactly as you imagine it to be.

I will get this out of the way early: I am not looking for a boyfriend (I already have one of those. I am quite happy with him and he will do.) Steam is not a dating site. If dating is your thing I would suggest Tinder or going outside. I am here to play video games and to make friends. However please do not send gifts because I will not accept them even if well intentioned. I am happy to trade items though, but romance quests are disabled. Haha!

I like pandas, my Fiat 500 car, my dog, video games, cooking, PC building, eating, and sleeping and usually in that order. If you message me and I do not reply, I am probably asleep. This is not personal; it’s just efficient life management and without this I'll be very grumpy.

I firmly believe Star Ocean is the greatest game franchise ever made. If I had the skills, budget, and creative control, I would absolutely turn it into a full TV series space opera, sci-fi philosophy, questionable plot twists and all. Someone give me the funding and stay out of my way.

So I recently gathered some PC parts and built myself an extra PC. I already have 2, but you can never have too many PCs Haha! Yes, I’m using an Intel Arc A750. No, it has not exploded. Yes, the drivers work now. Shocking, I know. Intel are updating regularly and that process is seamless.

I wanted to see how bad these cards really are and despite what the internet doom prophets said, Intel Arc has come a long way. Intel has been cooking, and it turns out they did not burn the kitchen down.

I am running it with an i5-12600K and Resizable BAR enabled — like a true believer — and guess what? It actually works surprisingly well with no disasters, crashes, or games that refuse to launch, I am genuinely amazed at what this thing can do and it only cost £160. Price to performance does not get any better and that is not a preowned price it is the retail price for a new sealed GPU.

Modern and older games? They run smoothly and so far I have not found anything that does not work. All games are being played at 1080p because expecting this to cope with modern games in 1440p with 8gb VRAM would be silly.

Sure, I could have followed the herd and grabbed a GPU with 10% more performance for 100% more cash from Ngreedia, but where is the fun in that? Arc is the underdog story, and I am loving it so far.

Frame generation tech (something Ngreedia loves to push) can be a visual booster, it is not a replacement for native FPS. It makes a game look smoother but does not make it play smoother.

No crashes, no driver problems (Intel are releasing updates almost every week) the update process is quick, clean and very straight forward.

I will add more information as I play more games with this brilliant graphics card and if someone sees this then great
