I am someone who does not like RPG games and any type of these fantastic worlds etc. Therefore, I did not play this game till 2022. All my friends and even my professor while studying game dev master's degree, kept telling me, just give it a chance you will love it and I was always like naah, it's just not my thing.

But later when I bought a new gaming laptop, I said you know what let's try. Let me see why almost every people on earth says this is one of the best games ever. As I said I am not a fan of RPG games, so I did not know how to play one. So the first play-through was not that interesting to me. I mean I got why people are so into this game, but still, I was like naah it is not that good and I had my reasonings too.
- I did not like the storytelling, because it keeps telling me that Ciri might be in danger and we gotta find her as soon as possible. So I do not even care about that guy who lost his wife, or that woman asking for help, etc. That is why I mostly focused on the main story. I know until I trigger the quest, nothing will happen but still it was weird for me.
- There were game-breaking bugs and when you search about them, you can find that many people had the same issue, yet they did not fix it. That was really interesting for me because I mean cmon it has been 7 years. Once the entire quest system was broken, I could not continue because literally, I did not know what to do or the classic Keira bug before the war.
- As I said RPG is not my thing, so I did not know how to play properly, I did not read anything, I did not understand how to use signs, and I kept using igni for every battle. The first basilisk was way too hard for me because I did not know how to fight properly etc.
- I hated dying just because I jumped somewhere a little bit high.

The 2nd play-through happened after remembering the soundtracks and starting listening to them out of nowhere because simply they are amazing. And I was like let me play it again from scratch. And this was the time that I understood why this game is such legendary. I was still playing it while skipping most of the talks and everything, but I played it properly. I have done all the side quests, every witcher contract, and every scavenger hunt, simply I loved it and I could not play any other game for some time.
- First of all, the soundtracks are just the best, most of the time I am listening to them while working, it is just amazing. Kudos to Marcin Przybyłowicz, Mikolai Stroinski and Percival Schuttenbach. My favorite one is ...Steel For Humans.
- Gwent. I remember spending hours in the game just playing Gwent. I am so sad that we do not have the original board game for Gwent. Just because I wanted to have this so bad, I bought every piece of equipment to print it for myself so I can play with my friends. The game is so simple yet so fun. I also downloaded the Gwent games and playing them currently, but still I like the simple version more.
- I started watching YouTube videos about Witcher 3, the things I missed, or the tiny details and the more I listen and see different play-throughs, the more and more I was into the game. For example, I always played the game as it was kinda intended starting from Velen, then Novigrad, and then Skellige. I just realized that I don't have to follow this while watching some speed runs. Even this was like mind-blowing for me because it is changing a lot of things and how you play the game.
- I learned how to properly use the signs and everything started getting easier, I was using oils, decoctions, and potions properly, I was using proper equipment, scavenging every witcher gear, tho my favorite is cat school, and also I started to know the bestiary better, so I don't have to keep checking which oil to use, which sign to use, etc.

Now I started to play for the 3rd play-through after the Next-Gen update, but this time I am really watching, listening and reading everything. I am also changing my choices so that I can have different outcomes this time. The difficulty is now Death Match, I am trying to use fast travel as less as possible before I was using it every time. I am trying to get every achievement as well.

It has been 200 hours already, I started as someone who does not like RPG games at all, but now I am also someone who says this is one of the best games ever, even maybe by far.
