Absolutely love the idea of this game and I've had a lot of fun trying the demo out! Here's some stuff I really liked about the game:
- The vibe is great, a vibrant tropical island is exactly the kind of place I'd like to be stuck in on a vacation.
- The hints of something more going on, or something that happened in the past make me curious about the backstory.
- The mechanics are easy to understand.
- It's fairly easy to follow the story and check up on what you need to do.
- The character creator is fantastic, it obviously has some limitations when it comes to accurate fur patterns and such, but it's nice to try and make characters in it.

On the end though, there are some stuff I'd also like to see potentially improved about the game, and I don't know if some of those are already planned to be polished in the future and also not all of these are important to make a fun base game but I thought I'd mention anyway:
- The character animations can sometimes feel a little stiff.
- The character creator has a colour picker, however it doesn't allow for certain colours to be picked due to not being able to adjust the saturation of the picked colour, which has annoyed me a little trying to make one of my characters who has some desaturated blue-ish gray colours.
- Perhaps more random things the critters can talk about to you, since it's quite easy to make them repeat lines.
- The jump button has some delay to it which makes it a little awkward to do platforming.

That's all I can really think of at the moment, but I'm really happy with the demo so far and I'm looking forward towards the next stages of the game, wishing you lot working on the game the best. c:

Incredibly well made sequel that improves upon the previous game and adds in new content and mechanics to spice it up. Listen to funky fresh beats and go slam some people.

The singleplayer portion of this game is rather enjoyable, but for this review i'll talk about the multiplayer part.

The online portion is half good and half terrible too, there's a couple of enjoyable things to do depending on what you like, myself I like racing in this game a lot, but so much of the content you might want is locked away by being extremely expensive. If you want to buy and modify a couple of cars for racing for example, you either have to spend weeks grinding boring missions or buy their microtransactions, which aren't even priced accordingly (£59.99 gets you $8 million dollars in the game, and it's not enough). Is it any wonder people ask cheaters to drop them money in game if all the content is ridiculously expensive? It does not help that a lot of the new content that seems fun such as Gunrunning and Import/Export end up to be rather disinteresting in the long run, as it's rather obvious how much of a cash grab they like to make those.

I don't play in public sessions very often, but everyone else tells me that they often see cheaters with trainers that do malicious stuff, and this is because this game doesn't have a proper anti-cheat system and it's extremely easy to find trainers (I've used Cheat Engine a couple of times in the game, to give myself money, as well as a trainer for other random stuff but I was never detected as a cheater).

The most I could give the developers credit for is that at least the game a good PC port, it almost always ran well, even on my old PC and the keyboard and mouse controls are pretty good.

Overall the state of the game right now is pretty bad for a person that likes modding or likes intuitive online gameplay. But if all you want to do is enjoy the single player story and nothing else then these issues shouldn't impact you.

Update:
Recently a lot of people with legitimately earned money have been calling out Rockstar for taking it away for no reason, meanwhile a bunch of people with modded money (including me) seem to be not affected in any way. If this doesn't say something about how horrible R* is about maintaining this game I don't know what will by this point.
