If you check my recent activity, its actually just a few achievements per week. Back then when we made those Duke achievements, I was a student, and, naturally, had LOTS of free time. Now I am an adult man with a job, so my free time is weekend only. I also spend summer weekends and vacations in countryside and do not have access to the Internet there, so I do not use steam there. As such, the rate I get achievements nowadays is 1-2 order of magnitude lower than before.

Also, since I concentrate on beating few games to the end instead of playing many games but only to 75%, naturally, it takes more time to get "that last freaking achievement".

Still, I play video games for more than 20 years now, so I can say that this hobby is going to stick. Gotta achieve them all! (Although I actually enjoy 100%ing games rather than doing achievements, its just that achievements hint on what else can be done with the game.)

Know exactly what you're talking about. Got that issue with No More Room In Hell and Verdun, hard to beat, if not impossible.
Chancen your pace? Man I see you getting thousands of achievements dude :D

Thank you very much. Coincindence - I remembered just recently how I have been doing these achievements in Serious Sam and Duke Nukem. You read minds, don't you?

As for keepeing achieving, I changed my pace and now playing all those games that I have bought "just in case". Many are pain in the ass, but slowly they are getting beaten.
