HuniePop is an All-Time Classic. Everything about this game was crafted perfectly. The gameplay, the music, the characters, the writing, hell even the "story" this game has is amazing. I genuinely find it hard to think of any negatives when it comes to this game.

Positives:
-Characters
This should go without saying, but every character in this game is expertly written. Everyone in the game is a stereotype by design, but are written such that they still feel like genuine people (aside from Kyu and the secret characters, but that's a given), just with a dash of absurdist humor. Even the characters that I personally didn't think were great like Kyanna, Beli, and Lola still have their fair share of good moments. Tiffany best girl btw, fight me.

-Gameplay
I mean at the end of the day, it's just Bejeweled. Let's be real, if you don't like puzzle games, you won't like this game, no matter how good the rest of it is, since this is what you're gonna spend 90% of your time doing. That being said, I enjoy the little spin on the tried and true formula with the date gifts. Mixing and matching them to find a setup that works for you is pretty fun. By the way, if you're doing Alpha Mode, your loadout should always be: Suede Ankle Booties, Leopard Print Pumps, Stuffed Whale, Stuffed Penguin, Heart Necklace, and Pearl Necklace. Your gameplan is to get to max Passion asap, and then farm as much Sentiment as possible before using Heart Necklace and Pearl Necklace to instantly win on any date since their Affection benefits are percentage-based, meaning they scale with the ever-increasing Affection Goals in Alpha Mode.

-Music
The soundtrack is a 10/10, there are no bad tracks in the whole game, and each of them fit their respective locations perfectly. Particular standouts to me would be Dawnwood Park, Botanical Gardens, Ice Rink, and Scenic Overlook. Props to World of Wandag, he nailed it with the music for this game.

-Writing
Look, it might have aged... a bit, in the over 10 years the game's been out, but I still like it. It's just dumb and charming enough to get a laugh out of me every time I replay the game, particularly in regards to the MC, Kyu, and Audrey. Nearly everything they say is hilarious.

Boy, I sure hope the people who worked on this game don't turn around and churn out a massively disappointing sequel filled with poor gameplay changes and terrible characters. That would really suck. *cough*

First off, I want to thank the developer for giving me a key to play this game, I genuinely appreciate that. That was really cool of you.

Three Wishes is the 3rd installment in the "Lily's Day / Night Off" series, with the story this time around focused on the sisters of the Lilypads, aptly referred to as the "Lilpads." That being said, even with a "smaller" cast, the game isn't any less chaotic and downright insane than it's predecessors, in fact it's arguably even more so. I mean what do you expect? Mayhem and destruction is basically this series' thing. From getting Super Saiyan powerups, getting erased from existence, getting turned into candy, creating world "peace," and more, there's no limit to the chaos to be caused by the Lilpads and their totally not evil friend, Saty.

This game's core gimmick is the ability to headpat the characters, something that's not only cute, but also integral to the story, as it helps each member of the Lilpads understand a bit more about themselves and the negative impact of their wishes. I imagine that this is almost certainly built off the "Live Lily" tech demo in Lily's Day Off. It also reminds me a lot of how you can pet the catgirls throughout every Nekopara game aside from Vol. 1 and Nekopalive. For what it's worth, I liked it.

The soundtrack in this game was pretty good, I'd say it was basically on-par with Lily's Night Off, though there were a few standout tracks I liked, particularly "Kira Kira", "Emi Eat World", and "Betrayal At House On The Hill". Overall the music was well crafted and fit the game just fine. Vect did a good job. I will be buying the soundtrack when I get the opportunity, because I'm one of those weird people who buys soundtracks on Steam.

Overall, I'd say this is a great game. The writing was funny and filled with callbacks to the prior games, the story was pretty interesting, the characters were cute and funny, and I look forward to seeing what's next for the world of the Lilypads and the little Lilpad sisters.
