Resident Evil: Requiem feels like the perfect love child of RE4 and RE7. It strikes a masterclass balance between over-the-top action and bone-chilling horror. By constantly shifting its gameplay styles, it keeps you on your toes without ever losing its identity. A fantastic, must-play addition to the franchise.

Also it runs really well, gotta love RE engine when used in these linear games. Looks amazing and runs like a dream.

A Massive Upgrade in Every Way
The previous game was a masterpiece, but Ragnarök fixes the few flaws it had.

Enemy Variety: No more fighting the same three trolls and soul eaters. The boss fights are unique, and the enemy types vary wildly between realms.

The World: Don't skip the side quests! They aren't just "filler"—they unlock massive, hidden parts of the map that you’ll never see otherwise.

The Verdict: If you liked the first one, this is a non-negotiable must-play. It’s bigger, more diverse, and a true adventure.

Resident Evil 7 is what happens when the series locks itself in a house, turns off the lights, and remembers how to be scary again.

No over-the-top action, no ridiculous hero moments—just you, a flashlight, and a constant feeling that something is very wrong. The Baker house is easily one of the most oppressive, well-designed settings in the series. Every hallway feels like a bad decision.

The pacing is tight, the exploration is rewarding, and the game actually trusts its atmosphere instead of throwing cheap noise at you every five minutes. When it does go loud, it earns it.

Also worth mentioning: the game manages to reinvent itself multiple times without losing focus, which is rare.

If you’ve ever liked survival horror, this is one of the strongest modern examples of it done right.

Bosses are kinda weak side but everything else is real good.

Resident Evil Village is easily one of the best survival horror games I’ve played in years. It does an amazing job mixing classic Resident Evil tension with more action and exploration, and it keeps things fresh the whole way through.

The atmosphere is incredible. The village and surrounding areas feel mysterious and unsettling, and every location has its own unique vibe. From creepy castles to disturbing houses and strange industrial zones, the game constantly changes things up so it never feels repetitive.

The gameplay is really satisfying. Combat feels tight, weapons are fun to upgrade, and exploring for secrets, treasures, and upgrades is genuinely rewarding. The merchant system is also a great addition and gives you a good reason to search every corner of the map.

Some sections lean more into horror, while others ramp up the action, which keeps the experience exciting the entire time.

Visually the game looks fantastic, and the sound design adds a lot to the tension. Playing with headphones makes some moments genuinely nerve-wracking.

Overall, Resident Evil Village is a fantastic entry in the series. It balances horror, action, exploration, and story really well. If you enjoy survival horror or liked Resident Evil 7, this is absolutely worth playing.

Only minus is that on PC you cant change FOV but at least its PC so you can use mods.

Highly recommended.

Amazing work from Capcom. I loved this remake just as much as Resident Evil 2 Remake. The overall experience feels modern while still respecting the original. The only thing I really missed was the laser hallway, but aside from that, I’m glad they removed the quick time events—they never added much and their absence makes the gameplay feel cleaner and more immersive.

Pretty decent overall. The setting and story are solid, and the gameplay feels like a casual Far Cry experience — just with bows, spears, and prehistoric vibes. It’s fun at first, but it starts to get repetitive after about 10 hours. The village side quests, though, are pretty awful — definitely not worth doing.

Played on Legion Go, ran really good.
