Early Access Review
The game is fantastic. It takes the Deep Rock Galactic formula and turns it into a roguelike, and honestly I enjoy this playstyle even more than the original DRG though that’s mostly because I’m a big fan of the roguelike genre.

Playing with friends is an absolute blast. Playing with randoms is decent too, about what you’d expect from most co-op games. Multiplayer runs smoothly, and the missions feel fast-paced and intense compared to spending long stretches mining underground in the original DRG.

The game definitely still needs more time to cook, but there’s already a surprising amount of content here to dig into. I’m excited to see how it evolves over time, so I’ll hold off on any final judgment for now, but so far I’m having a great time with it.

Some things to notice
The timer does not end the game, it just makes the swarm more harsh and harder to get to the elevator and so technically its not a death timer, its a horde timer like in RISK OF RAIN 2

The rng of the cards incentivize teamwork, You want to share some of the card so that the whole group benefits because no matter how strong you are, you cannot go at it alone, you need to work with your team to progress and fight a boss with mechanics, there are enemies with mechanics that needs you to work together.

Rock and Stone.

First problem Microsoft sign in
Forgot password got into account
Forgot authenticator (Don't have old phone number anymore)
have to mail new authenticator, account checkup etc
takes 30 days
Stuck in login loop
You ain't playing this game chum and no way to call microsoft for support
If you log in an alt account you lose all premium benefits because it will tie to that alt account and cannot be brought over to main account.

GG so much issue just trying to get on the microsoft windows live platform just to log in for this game, absolute trash they couldn't tie this into steam account. Never had this much issue until this game because I wanted to protect my microsoft account from spams in the past.

Of course the situation is my fault, and yes it sucks and a complete nightmare, Forza is a great series and this review has nothing to do with the game itself but damn, this is going in for the technical side.

It actually feels like the devs finally listened to player feedback and took notes from what works in other games. Instead of small tweaks, they went all-in with a proper, high quality expansion, and honestly this is what Diablo 4 needed to get back on track.

The skill tree overhaul is one of the biggest wins. It’s gone from feeling like a bare twig to a meaningful branching system with impactful choices. You can finally build around your playstyle instead of wading through filler skills that don’t matter.

The story is also fantastic. This expansion serves as a strong conclusion to the current “hatred saga” while setting up the next chapter. It hits hard without overdoing it, and it’s one of those moments that pulls you back into the world. No spoilers, but it definitely got me invested again.

The campaign continues to deliver, and the visuals are still top-tier. Performance has noticeably improved as well, much smoother overall, even if the servers struggled a bit at launch, which is pretty typical for a major release.

They’re also leaning back into classic class identity and gameplay styles, which is a huge plus. If you’ve been missing that old school feel, it’s definitely making a comeback.

Downside
The way expansion-specific skills are shown to all players can be confusing. New players might see abilities they can’t access and assume the game is locking core content behind a paywall. It’s more of a presentation issue than a design flaw, but it could definitely be clearer.

Final Thoughts
This expansion is a massive step up, not just better than the last one, but better than the game was at launch. It finally feels like the game is moving in the right direction.

I really hope they keep building on this instead of rushing into a sequel. There’s a great foundation here, and it deserves to be expanded and refined even further.

We’re so back.

I went ahead and rebought this entire game on steam and yes, I do own the battle.net version.

Really solid and genuinely fun game. The controls are smooth, combat feels great, and the upgrades are satisfying and worth it. The optimization is excellent too, everything runs very smoothly and feels polished. It gives off a strong old school Mega Man vibe while still feeling modern, and honestly feels like a great foundation for future games in that style.

Exploration is a big highlight. There are tons of collectibles, and the game leans heavily into platforming and backtracking to find hidden upgrades. It feels rewarding to revisit areas, especially with the return to base system that lets you upgrade and prepare as the game gets harder.

Enemies are well thought out, with clear weaknesses you need to learn and take advantage of, and the boss fights are especially well designed. The challenge really comes from how much the game throws at you at once, hacking, shooting, solving puzzles, and dodging all at the same time can get intense fast.

Diana is adorable, and the story is a heartfelt sci fi journey about a robot learning to be human. The conversations between Diana and Hugh are wholesome and surprisingly touching, and the voice acting does a great job bringing everything to life.

Only downside is the moon setting can feel a bit lonely since you are mostly fighting robots. Still, I would love to see a sequel that takes place off the moon. Highly recommended.

Incredible so far,the hype is real.

I went into this without following it too closely, and honestly, the depth surprised me. There are so many little systems and mechanics layered into everything that it constantly feels rewarding to just exist in the world.

The map looks amazing, traversal is fun, and the gameplay has a ton of variety. You can tell it probably had roots in something like an MMO at some point, but it’s been refined into a really solid single-player RPG experience.

There’s a ridiculous amount of freedom in what you can do:

Mine, farm, and gather resources

Chop wood and craft/refine gear

Mess with NPCs (literally shove people around)

Rob people with disguises

Be a complete menace if you want

Tie people up, cause chaos, or just explore

It honestly feels like GTA set in a medieval, Elden Ring style world, which is something I didn’t know I needed.

The NPCs feel alive too they have their own daily routines and the dynamic weather adds a lot to immersion. The music and lore are both solid, and the game doesn’t take itself too seriously at times (you will get insulted in very creative ways).

My only real gripe so far is the interaction system where you have to precisely aim your camera at items to pick them up or steal them. I get why it’s designed that way there’s a ton of detail but it can feel a bit clunky.

I’ll update this once I’ve gotten deeper into the game and hit endgame, but right now I can already tell I’m going to sink a lot of time into this.

At first glance, you might wonder how a “walking simulator” like this could be improved but this game proves there’s plenty of room to evolve the formula. It takes everything from the original concept and expands on it in meaningful ways. You’re no longer just traversing terrain you’re dealing with bandits, human enemies, massive supernatural BTs, and even cyborgs that feel straight out of Metal Gear.

The world feels more alive and unpredictable than ever. Dynamic events like sandstorms, wildfires, earthquakes, and flooding rivers constantly change how you approach each journey. On top of that, the environments and structures feel more detailed, and the gameplay itself has been deepened in satisfying ways. This is exactly the kind of innovation you’d expect from Hideo Kojima.

One of the standout elements is the music. The game uses its soundtrack brilliantly, dropping in at just the right moments to elevate the experience emotionally and make key scenes unforgettable.

On a technical level, the PC version is excellent. It runs smoothly and supports both mouse and keyboard and a PS5 controller with haptic feedback, all of which feel great to use.

I also really appreciate how the game handles its story. It does a solid job of bringing new players up to speed on the previous game’s lore, making it easier to jump in. That said, the ending might still feel a bit confusing if you haven’t played the first one but overall, it’s a fantastic experience.

Play this on the hardest difficulty that the game offers To the wilder, it's hard but not impossible, you do not truly game over and if I can do it so can you, remember it's not the destination where you end up, but the mishaps, memories, and connection with the people you make along the way.

This is easily my Game of the Year on PC.

9/10

This game has strong Left 4 Dead and World War Z vibes, mixed with mechanics you wouldn’t expect like the mud physics and winch systems straight out of MudRunner and SnowRunner but a light version of it. It creates a pretty unique mix of zombie horde shooting and environmental gameplay.

The combat is where the game shines. There are tons of zombies, lots of shooting, and plenty of adrenaline pumping moments while fighting through open areas and completing optional objectives to collect gear and level up. The guns feel great to use, and higher difficulties like Hard and Very Hard make co-op runs pretty intense.

The characters have a trollish, smartass attitude that adds some personality, but there are only four of them, so the banter can start to feel repetitive after a while.

Where the game struggles a bit is in content and variety. It could really use more bosses, RNG elements, and random events to keep runs feeling fresh. Right now, it’s a blast for a couple of hours, but it needs more “meat” to keep players coming back long term.

That said, a lot of co-op shooters start out like this before expanding over time. The foundation here is solid, and I can definitely see the potential if the developers continue adding content.

The retro-style music is also great and fits the action perfectly.

Overall:
Fun co-op zombie shooter with great gunplay and a solid foundation, but it needs more content and variety to really shine. I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

Honestly I like it much better than Arc raiders why? because no ABMM
Noone to backstab you
its pvpve
The gunplay is great, the music and the environment hits, the lore is also very complex and well thought out.

The only issue I have with this game is the horrible menu, and the color palatte is subjective, I like it only because it reminds me of the Retro neon age from the 80's, it's like playing Far Cry Blood dragon

is a strong and satisfying conclusion to the Raccoon City anthology. It feels like a genuine love letter to the franchise, blending mechanics and tones from across multiple entries into one streamlined experience. You can clearly sense inspiration from past titles including Village but everything is refined into something cohesive and accessible.

It’s fun, plain and simple. In many ways, it’s a “jack in the box” Resident Evil it pulls a little from everywhere. It may not fully master any single mechanic, but it executes them all competently, making it a solid and worthwhile addition to the series.

The horror absolutely delivers. The evolution of the T-Virus is especially unsettling this time around. Zombies aren’t just mindless bodies they retain fragments of memory and react in disturbingly human ways. That detail alone adds a psychological layer that makes encounters tense and genuinely freaky.

The Grace sequences lean heavily into cat and mouse gameplay. I didn’t enjoy them much at first, but they grew on me over time. They slow the pace and force vulnerability, strengthening the horror atmosphere. That said, this style of sequence is starting to feel a bit overused. Less cat-and-mouse in future entries would be welcome.

Leon’s sections, on the other hand, deliver pure classic badass energy. His gameplay feels confident, action-focused, and satisfying. The contrast between slower, tension driven segments and high-intensity combat keeps the experience dynamic and engaging.

Revisiting iconic locations and seeing flashbacks to memorable moments is a fantastic touch. It taps into nostalgia without overindulging. The option to play in either third-person or first-person is also a huge plus. The Grace sequences especially shine in first-person for immersion on a first run, and having that flexibility adds meaningful replay value.

The performances deserve special recognition. The actors and actresses do a fantastic job bringing these characters to life. The voice acting is superb emotional when it needs to be, intense during combat, and subtle during quieter moments. Combined with outstanding motion capture work, the characters feel grounded and believable. The physical performances add weight to every scene, making the horror more immersive and the emotional beats more impactful.

The music hits hard, the action delivers, and the story provides a sense of real closure. It’s not perfect, and there’s definitely room to build on what this game sets up mechanically but even with its flaws, Resident Evil Requiem stands as a memorable and worthwhile chapter in the series.

P.S.
If you get the chance, watch the behind the scenes content included in the game. The motion capture sessions and cast performances are incredible. The real magic here is in the actorsthey truly elevated the entire experience.

8.5/10 from me.

This game seriously has the potential to become something special.

I’ve put over 100 hours into HumanitZ, and that alone should say something. If a game can hold my attention that long in its current state, there’s clearly something here. The core loop is addictive looting, surviving, building, and running into other players out in the wild creates some genuinely intense moments.

The PvP, especially during random encounters, is where this game really shines. When it works, it WORKS. The tension feels real, and every fight matters. It honestly feels like the closest thing to a mix between DayZ and Project Zomboid, but in its own accessible, faster-paced way.

Base building is solid and gives long-term purpose, but base raiding definitely needs more work. Right now it can feel inconsistent and sometimes frustrating, especially when exploits or technical issues get involved. With some balancing and polish, raiding could become one of the strongest systems in the game instead of a weak point.

That said, if PvP isn’t your thing, there’s also the option to play on PvE servers. I like that choice it opens the game up to more players and lets people enjoy the survival aspect without constant player conflict.

Yes, there’s server lag at times. Yes, PvP can feel glitchy. And yes, exploits need to be cleaned up. But despite that? I still had a great time. That’s the biggest compliment I can give it. Even with the rough edges, it’s fun.

This is one of those “diamond in the rough” Early Access titles. The foundation is strong it just needs polish, better stability, and continued updates. If the devs stay on it, this could easily grow into one of the standout survival games in the genre.

I am looking forward to return in the future but I am done for now.
