Dead population unless you're on Asian times. Not sure how long that will last because it's not sustainable. Need 5 real people to get into games including yourself. No new content when the game has been out for more than half a year. All your playtime is constantly repeating the same exact raid and co-op quests again and again. Terrible as a new player and not worth getting into because even when you do get games, the 4 other real players on the quest are so overpowered you don't get do anything... The only period where that hasn't been the case is when season 3 started. The player base has been dwindling again after the first week of season 3. If you want to play, I recommend having a party of 4 + 1 queuing the same tier of content.

They merged the servers all into 1 this update in April. The queues were fast for the first week of season 3. During Asia early morning-night you didn't have to even wait to find people from my experience. After the first week it got slower but continued to be playable. It was good while it lasted. The only updates this game receives are DLC characters and recycling the same content and pushing it up a tier to make it harder. Basically nothing has changed. So repetitive... This would be fun if it had more levels or bosses to go through and a stable player base but that will never happen at this point. There's no reason for players to stay and continue playing this bare bones game. It offers 0 variety and I'm not exaggerating.

The only part I'm glad about is that they added 2x exp boost after the latest season began. I feel sorry for day 1 players that had to do double the amount of grind I had to do. There are achievements for getting each character to level 30. Each individual character takes on average 3 hours. Without the exp boost it would be 6 hours per character. There's 21 base game characters to grind. 126 hours without the exp boost lol. That's 126 hours of grinding the same exact thing. This isn't even factoring into long wait times. This game is so limited and you can't even grind those hours because hardly anyone plays the game...

Reaching level 100 on a single character wasn't bad. That's mostly because the character I was levelling (Alice) had her birthday event which gave bonus exp on top of the 2x exp boost. I could also optimise her build instead of starting from scratch every first 30 levels. The boss gauntlet was good for experience because it took less than 5 minutes to clear and were the fastest queues. It's the only time I've ever seen 20/20 lobbies in this game.

I would probably be a lot more negative if I played most of my time when it was normal rate of exp. It's mind numbing to think about that I'd have to do the same quests x2. It's not worth the price and I highly doubt the game will last for much longer. The gameplay itself was fun but it has too many cons to even consider purchasing.

Meh, I don't know what to say. This game isn't worth £49.99 let alone £82.99 for the Ultimate Edition.

• The story is short and tedious, with barely any cut-scenes and 95% of it is just repetitive ''Retrieving cube from Replica'' it just feels lifeless. Even without much cut-scenes, most of the ones shown suck.
  
  
• The ''free missions'' and ''key missions'' are just plain boring and the AI sucks no matter what mode it is on. Here is a tip, just break its guard and you win. It gets tougher but in the end AI is just AI
  
  
• Online is okay, not a big issue for me personally but the game doesn't require skill since you can just be good by button mashing which is a big letdown. Also abilities and awakened abilities suck. You can just guard all of them except some sword abilities and be fine.
  
  
• I run the game on Ultra settings and the graphics are good for the majority, after getting used to it though I don't see anything special but thats because I've been playing this game a lot during the 2/3 days of early access so it loses that feeling.
  
  
• The character customisation sucks, the only positive thing I like about it is the hair selections. I'm a big fan of outfits but JF outfits aren't amazing in my opinion.
  
  The sole reason I'm even playing this is because I'm a weeb and I like the actual characters in the game and haven't seen my bois like Ichigo in a long while but having said that the roster is weak. They should really just fire the guy who came up with the idea of adding Kaguya. I could rant even more about many other things but I don't wanna waste my time anymore complaining. I wanted to give this game a chance but it disappointed me heavily.

I genuinely had no expectations with Odyssey. Assassins Creed died along with Desmond for me. However, I was truly blown away with positivity for this installment of the series. Odyssey reminds me and takes a page from the Witcher 3. It's incredibly enjoyable and in my opinion more superior and engaging than Origins. That said, I couldn't get into Origins it wasn't for me.

I've been a Assassins Creed fan ever since the first game. Over the years the game has evolved, adapted, and improved on every aspect up to Black Flag. I didn't feel the need to play the future installments after Black Flag. In my opinion they didn't fit in the mold of the series and I didn't support the actions Ubisoft were taking with the title. Odyssey changed my perspective on that with its fresh ideas and made me believe that a different direction isn't a bad one.

I still miss my boy Ezio :(
