I want to love this so much but I just can't. I was involved in the very early playtests and it felt like they were going in the right direction, but it just doesn't feel like a skate game. It feels like some weird Just Cause Flightsuit Simulator.

Is it fun? Sure. But the challenges aren't, it's always online and it's just blegh. I'm hoping it'll get better throughout early access, but for what could've been a great game in the Skate series, it just doesn't feel like it hits.

Absoloutely worth the wait. This reminds me of Mafia 1 / 2 so much gameplay wise, the story was amazing although I have had a consistent stuttering issue going from cutscenes to playing however changing some graphics settings (frame gen.. i think) fixed it.

I bought the Standard Edition and it's more than worth the price. Took me just shy of 14 hours from start to end on Hard, and still have a lot of stuff to go around and pick up and some additional chapters to replay for some achievements.

Buy it, great game.

ACHIEVEMENT HUNTERS: Back up your save BEFORE you escape (before you go up the Ladder), as once you escape it wipes your save and it'll make it a pain to go through and get the rest of the achievements like Idler which requires you to be in Prison for 28 days which is 11 hours real time (24 minutes per Day) and if you tab out of the game it PAUSES the time, so you literally need to idle in-game for 11 hours and the Basketball one as you don't get access to the Basketball Court until quite far in to the dig.

Silly little simulator game. Completed it (not 100%'d achievements yet) in 2.2 hrs. It's by no means a AAA title but for less than a fiver it's a good game for a few hours of fun, dig a hole, escape from prison.

Money is pretty pointless outside of a few achievements, toilet roll is what's important tho. Need that to upgrade your stuff, the main two I'd recommend 100% out is the shovel and rope/shoes (cell nearest yours to the right) as it makes you go hella faster. Dynamite is pretty pointless, but Glowsticks are very much needed so you might want to upgrade your backpack a bit as well (cell nearest the door to the canteen in front of you).

Don't go into it expecting a master piece for 5 quid and you'll have fun. I don't exp. any game breaking bugs or performance issues but that'll vary depending on your setup I guess.

I am so conflicted on this game. It feels early access and it does make me question what they were planning to release in December 2022 before the Russian invasion of Ukraine considering what they've just released.

- Performance is abysmal. Constant drops to 1FPS, texture glitches, random performance lag that ends up getting you killed during gun fights.

- The Inventory system/Gun system feels half baked, convoluted and just really badly designed. Guns break far too quickly and then you have trek back to a technician to fix it, which means you end up going back on yourself a lot.

- You run out of stamina far too quickly when you have to travel over 1km to certain objectives, in a nearly completely empty map.

- The world looks great, when you can see it. The torch makes no difference because of how dim it is and the day/night cycle is insane, it feels like I've played 90% in the dark so far and it's not very fun -- it's not even scary, it's just annoying.

- It is empty. I went from objective to objective for about three missions and didn't meet anything or anyone outside of the story mission, the world is just empty. It feels like a walking simulator a lot of the time.

- The English Voice acting is horrendous. Why is everyone from London/Cambridge, England?

It's a good game, but it's not ready and although the modding community have released a lot of cool stuff already, it's not enough. The game just feels empty and isn't worth £49.99.

Maybe after a few patches I'll recommend it, but in it's current form it's just not great and doesn't feel like a STALKER game.

runs well, you can tell they've done something with the textures but it's still a game that came out in 2010. £39.99 honestly isn't that bad, if you like the series and you liked this on console i'd buy it, otherwise just wait for a sale. they gotta pay double eleven for working on the port somehow y'no.

playing on ultra with an RTX 3080 and haven't had any issues.

edit: completed the game with no major issues, just as good as i remember.

Don't buy this. The multiplayer is dead, even with cross play enabled. When you do eventually find a game, the lobby disbands after the game and you spend ages trying to find another one.

The games you do find are just full of level 2,500 sweats.

Without a doubt the worst and most tedious PowerWash Simulator DLC I've ever played.

Game is unplayable. No one plays it because all old cod games are insecure and unsafe to play. The one time a community tries to make it safe, Activison kills it.

Don't buy old cods, don't buy cod anymore.
