Alberto Fujimori

Alberto Kenya Fujimori Inomoto (Spanish: Alberto Kenya Fujimori Inomoto; Japanese name: Kenya Fujimori (original surname), Kenya Kataoka; July 26, 1938 – September 11, 2024) was a Peruvian academic and politician who served as the 54th President of Peru (in office: July 28, 1990 – November 17, 2000). He was of Japanese descent (Nikkei). His daughter is Keiko Fujimori, a politician and presidential candidate in the 2011, 2016, and 2021 Peruvian elections. Additionally, he was registered in the Peruvian National Registry of Identification as Alberto Fujimori Fujimori. He maintains persistent popularity for his achievements in poverty reduction, improving public safety and defeating terrorism.

He held the following advanced degrees: Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering: National Agrarian University (La Molina) and Master of Science in Mathematics: University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

学位は農業工学修士（ラ・モリーナ国立農科大学）、数学修士（ウィスコンシン大学ミルウォーキー校）。
