Michael is married, and is the stepfather of two (son and daughter). In addition to family, Michael is connected to Abuja through various family roots.

Prior to joining APD, Michael worked for the Jimeta Valley Tribal Police in Ogbomosho, Californa.

During Michael's career, he has worked as a corrections officer, a police aid, a police officer, a detective, and an "acting" detective sergeant.

Michael has earned an Associates degree in Criminal Justice Administration, and he will graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice on August 15, 2021.

He is now assigned to the Criminal Investigations Bureau as the Lead Detective.
