Hockey 2012

This is today's post at Scrappinstuff . Check out the store for tons of sports products.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill White, Black
Pattern paper: Paper House Productions
Stickers: Jolees
Chipboard letters: Bella Blvd.

Directions:

This is the perfect background paper to use for a lot of photos and since my son played goalie in this particular game, the papers helped showcase his accomplishments.

Cut photos to various sizes and mat with black cardstock.

Line 3 smaller photos across the bottom of the left side, then add 3 larger photos above them.

Adhere the ice skates above the goalie, angling them so they appear to be hanging down.

On the right side of the layout, adhere 2 photos, placing a smaller photo on top of the hockey sticks.

Adhere “2012” in the lower right corner.

Tag Book

This new post is up at Scrappin Stuff .

This really sweet Coupon book by Adorn-it caught my eye. While the packaging claims this kit to be a “heartfelt coupon book”, I wanted to see what else could be created with this kit. The kit comes with everything you need to create this tag book (except the paper), so I had lots of thoughts on the variety of projects to make.

Each page was created as a mini layout and then adhered to the envelope once it was completed. The base layer on each page was cut 3 3/8” x 6 ¼”, allowing a little bit of each envelope to show.

The front and back covers use Moxxie pattern papers along with some black cardstock to help the colors pop. I tied ribbon between the front cover layers and added an acrylic heart with metallic thread. Once completed, I punched holes and inserted the included rings. I then tied ribbons to the rings and added a key with metallic thread.

Pages 2 and 3 have spots for photos (2” x 2 ½”) along with some quotes.

Pages 4 and 5 have matted quotes.

Pages 6 and 7 have matted quotes, brads and a journaling block (3/4” x 4 ¾”)

Pages 8 and 9 have photo mats or journaling blocks (1 ¾” x 5 ¾”) along with some torn Moxxie papers.

Each tag was covered with cardstock and/or pattern paper. Quotes have been added to some and photo mats have been added. I have inked the edges where necessary.

This book would be a wonderful gift to give as a bridal shower gift. Change up the papers and create a Mother's Day Gift or even a Christmas gift. Oh the possibilities!!!!

Supplies:

Coupon Book: Adorn-It
Cardstock: Bazzill
Pattern paper: Prima, Moxxie
Brads: Creative Impressions
Ink: Clearsnap
Quotes: Making Memories
Acrylic: Nicole Collection
Ribbon: Offray

Masculine Spring Cards

Another project I created this month for Scrappin Stuff are masculine cards. I know that creating something masculine has many of us in a quandry, so I used some Graphic 45 papers to create these cards. Graphic 45 papers are double sided pattern papers that provide amazing color and theme combinations. I love using these papers to create cards. Masculine cards can be somewhat difficult to create, but this sports themed paper is perfect for creating masculine cards. Stop by the store and pick up some papers today.

School Days Mini Album

I love to create mini books. I find they are the perfect project to create when you need a gift. They are quick to make and oh, so much fun. You can also use up tons of scraps with these minis. This month at Scrappin Stuff, I created a School Days mini book.

I think this would be a perfect gift for a grandparent to see what a child has been up to during the year. I also think it would be a perfect end of year teacher thank you gift. Details are on the blog.
