Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 1

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last nine years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

Today I'm sharing some sweet candy toppers using stamps and stencils from Blank Page Muse and I Brake for Stamps.

Supplies:
I Brake for Stamps:  Best Chocolate
Blank Page Muse Stencil: Butterfly Trails
Die:  Lawn Fawn

Ink stamp with black ink and emboss.
Die cut each panel with a Lawn Fawn die.

Place the stencil on top and ink with beige ink.
The embossing provides a resist to the stencilling.

Die cut a larger panel from cardstock.
Score in half and add the stamped panel on top.

Fill bags with assorted candies.
Punch holes and tie the toppers to each bag.
Thanks for stopping by.

Santa Cookie Box

Hi everyone, I'm on the TLC Designs blog today sharing a last minute Christmas gift for those who gather with friends or family after the holidays.

I love to recycle containers and these TLC Designs papers and stamps were a perfect choice to decorate this box.

I began by wrapping ribbon around the box then added the sentiment.
Paper from the Classic Santa Paper Pad was cut to fit the top.

The largest Star Spangled Confetti die was added to the top.
The Jingle Time Santa was stamped and colored with Copic Markers, then die cut with the Happy Dragonfly Circle and added to the star.  A mini star was then added to Santa's hands.

Thanks for stopping by.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 9

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last eight years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

Today I'm sharing a decorated box that can be used for candies, cookies, small treats of even a gift card.  If you are like me, you have tons of assorted boxes/tins available to upcycle.

Supplies:
Tutti Designs Die

Wrap the base with ribbon and add the sentiment.

Cut a circle in paper, place atop cardstock to use as a template.
Stamp the Mice in the center and the hanging snowflake at the top.
Surround them with the Wreath Builder.
Remove the top paper and die cut.
Mat with a larger die and adhere to the top of the tin.

Then simply fill with cookies (or even candies) or maybe a gift card and give to someone special.

Thanks for stopping by.

Scor Pal Candy Pouches

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.

I have lots of 6"x6" pads of papers, so I thought I'd create some Thanksgiving candy pouches.

Add the Scor-Envie to the Scor-Pal.
Score at 4 1/4", 4 1/2", 7 1/2", 7 3/4".
Rotate and score at 3 1/2", 8 1/4" x 8 1/2".

Cut and remove the small triangles created with the intersecting score lines.
Fold on each score line.

Add Scor-Tape to the center panel and add pattern paper.

Alternatively, you could use double sided pattern paper to achieve the same results.

Add Scor-Tape as shown to create the envelope.
Place a candy bar inside so the envelope can be sealed.

I needed 5 envelopes, so I used assorted 6"x6" papers to make them.
They are the perfectly sized for a regular sized Kit Kat bar and Reeses bar.

Using a leaf die, I die cut assorted colors of Rinea Foiled Papers.
Placing strips of burlap across the envelope, I scrunched the leaf and added it on top.
Grateful was stamped and die cut from Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

Thanks for stopping by.

Fall Time Decorative Gift Bag

Hi everyone, I've got a fun and festive  Fall Gift Bag on the Whisker Graphics blog.

Supplies:
Middy Bitty Bags - Orange Chevron
Divine Twine Collection - Bright White Solid
Small Colored Tags - White
Large Colored Tags - Gray
JoyClair Stamps -  Harvest Blessings
Clearsnap Ink - Brown
Copic Markers

The Orange Chevron Middy Bitty Bag was the perfect size to use with the scarecrow stamp - one of JoyClair's newest releases.  Think how much fun this would be to fill with little goodies and then leave on everyone's place setting this season.

Stamp and color the scarecrow image on white cardstock.  Ink and distress the edges before matting it with brown cardstock.

Stamp Happy Fall Y'all on a gray tag then tie it to a white tag with Bright White Divine Twine.

Next, wrap the Bright White Divine Twine several times around the image, tying it in the corner.  Spread out the Twine and then adhere the panel to the bag, inserting the tags behind the image.

Fill with goodies and enjoy.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 9

Hey everyone and welcome to day 9 of my 10 days of quick and easy Christmas projects.

Today's project is a candy bar wrapper.  You can use any sized candy bar for this project, just adjust your cardstock to fit.  I used a larger sized Cadbury Candy Bar.

Cut cardstock to fit candy bar length.   Then wrap it around the candy bar and add 2" so you can overlap it at the back.  Score to create the sides of the candy bar, then decorate.  I decided to create my own pattern paper so I used My First ColorBox mini stamps - Sweets - and My First ColorBox Dye ink pads.

Next, I die cut scalloped edges for the top and bottom of the wrapper and adhered them.  The sentiment was die cut and then added to the wrapper on coordinating die cut.

Punch holes in the top of the wrapper.  Cut ribbon twice the length of the candy bar plus approximately 6".    Place the ribbon around the candy bar and push candy bar into the wrapper and pull the ribbons through the holes.  Tie the ribbon into a bow.  Pull on the bow to remove the candy bar and push on the bow to replace the candy bar.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to stop by tomorrow as I show you one final quick and easy Christmas project you can make in less than 30 minutes.

Merry Christmas.
