Scor-Pal Hello Autumn

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.

I've created an easel card celebrating fall.

Cut cardstock 5 1/2" x 11".
Score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Finding the center, score the outer panels on the diagonal to the score line and then cut away the edges.
Fold over to cut away the bottom edges.

Using a Spellbinders leafy edged die, die cut 2 pieces of brown cardstock and adhere to the diagonals.
One will lay completely flat on the bottom panel.
One will be adhered just to the bottom half of the easel shape.

Cut pattern paper and cardstock to cover the interior of the card (use the cut off panels as stencils).

Using Spellbinders square dies, die cut pattern paper to fit both leafy panels.
Cut and fray a piece of burlap and adhere to the top panel.
Die cut assorted elements, ink and then adhere them to the top panel.

Add a wood word to the bottom panel.
Alternatively, use a large die cut word and adhere to the bottom panel.
Use glitter glue to fill in the leaves around the panel.

The word holds the easel upright.
Once folded down, the card fits into a 6" x 6" envelope, which I have created next.

Using the Scor-Envie, place it in the upper corner.
Following the sizing, cut cardstock 9 1/2" square.
Place the cardstock on the ScorPal and score at 2 3/4" and 9 1/4".
Rotate and score at 2 3/4" and 9 1/4".

Cut away the tiny pieces where the score lines overlap.
Fold on the score lines.
Place Scor-Tape along the flap and fold up creating the envelope.

Decorate as desired.
Since this card will not be mailed, it will be hand delivered, I decorated it similar to the card.

Happy Birthday Dragon Card

Hi everyone, I'm on the TLC Blog sharing an interactive birthday card.

Needing a birthday card, I decided to use the Celebrate Frame Die.  To make it interactive, I used elements from the See You in the Center Die.  Creating a top folding card, I selected papers from the Delicious Paper Pack.

I die cut the bottom edge of the panel using the included mechanism.

Creating the slot across the card, I assembled the mechanism so it peeked from the bottom of the card.  Foam tape was used to adhere the layers together.  Coloring Sweetie the Dragon, I fussy cut her and placed her atop the card across from the die cut birthday cake.  Moving the mechanism allows them to move towards each other.

Adding pattern paper inside the card, I stamped Just make a wish using Celebrate Sentiments.  The sentiment was die cut using the smallest die.

Candles were die cut and added around the card.
Stickles were added for dimension.

Dance in the Rain

Hi everyone, I'm creating with Blank Page Muse Stamps today.

Supplies:

Blank Page Muse Stamps Dandelion Bursts Background
Blank Page Muse Stamps Raindrops Waterdrops

I love background stamps because they can truly be the focus of your card.  If it's a bit smaller than your card, place it off center and add a phrase that overlaps the background.

Using 2 colors of blue ink, add color to the stamp.
Use the lighter color first, then lightly tap the darker color randomly about the stamp.

Mat the background with a coordinating color and adhere to the card slightly off center.

Stamp the phrase and mat with coordinating cardstock.
Add to card with foam adhesives for dimension.
Add stickles about the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Unicorn Garden with TLC Designs

Hi everyone, have you seen the Alicorn Happiness stamp set from TLC Designs?  This is a really sweet stamp set!

Fold brown cardstock to create a card.  Using the See You in the Center Die, place the die slightly over the folded edge and die cut.

Die cut another panel to complete the card and layer together.

Die cut the yellow paper from the Watercolor Naturals digital paper pack with the next size down die and add to the card.

Stamp one of the images on white cardstock and color with Copic Markers.  Using the small oval from the Oval Lily Frame, die cut the image.  Lightly ink the edges and place in  the center of the card.

Die cut the mushroom border using the Land and Seas dies.  Place the die cut panel across the bottom of the card, aligning with the stamped image.  Place the die on top, tape in place, then die cut the mushroom border so it picks up the contour and stitching of the die.

Ink the mushroom panel with shades of green and brown ink.  Color some of the mushrooms.  Die cut some of the tiny mushroom elements and add them to the card.

Stamp, color and fussy cut the little butterflies and add to the card with foam adhesives.  Finally, add some stickles to her wings and several of the mushroom caps.

Isn't she the sweetest?
