Masculine Feminine

Oh Yeah!
The theme this week for Art Journal Journey is Masculine Feminine- I had to play! :)

Art Journaling is a different genre in itself and trying my hands on it definitely made me happy! This is my first attempt at making an art journal page...Did I pass? :)

When I started making the page, I was not sure what I am gonna make..so I went with this idea
Masculine- represents strength, shapes; Feminine-softness,curves.

I used DI- Wild honey, Mowed lawn and Salty ocean over the page. Then I used a stencil and sprinted it with water to create a texture over the page.
I used Craftslane stencil with the same DI. I added arrows stamps from Bo Bunny "To the point" stamp set that represent masculine part. I doodles other shapes along.
Later, I drew a lady using a black gel pen. I doodled a lot over the page. I added a layer of gesso over the journal and painted using water colors in some portions.
"Men and Women have strength that complement each other" is the quote that I wrote for the same.
Hope you guys like it?

Thank u so much for coming by!
Keep smiling!
Time is short. Live every moment! :)

Masculine Love Card

Helloooo Dear Friends!! :)

I am blogging after full 10 days! Whoa!! Things have been pretty busy lately..

Gwad! How I missed everything here...And all of you...how are you doing? :)

Here is my card for you all...

I created a card inspired by the beautiful sketch from CAS(E) this sketch Challenge #127

I gave it a twist..made it a masculine love card... Not using reds and pinks... :)

I stamped the butterflies using "Trendy Butterflies" stamp set from STAMPlorations.  I wanted to keep these 4 pieces connected yet disconnected so I stamped the butterflies in the above fashion. I used Salty ocean, Seedless preserves, Old Paper and Black soot distress ink for the same. I used double sided glue tape to hold them together on American Craft card panel which I later adhered over the black cardstock. The sentiment is hand written using Gold marker.

I am also entering this card for Southern Chipboard Challenge blog which had masculine theme for June and
STAMPlorations Anything goes challenge as I am using their stamp set. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by , ladies!
Have a great day!

Daddy's Day!

Heyya Peeps!!

This weekend I made a whole lotta cards! Covering up for my last busy week...hehe! ;)

I created a masculine card...clean & simple!

I used Washi tape- which is The Male Room Challenge's this week's theme.
I adhered a button with a twine and later added the sentiment using Kaiser Craft's Cartoon Alphabet stamp set. I also added a few splatters using a stencil from Crafter's workshop
That's it. I was done! :)

I am also entering this card for:
Creative Corner Challenges-Just for Dad
and Love to scrap -Male call

Thanks for stopping by,
