You can use the Google Store Subscription management page or your Google Home app to transfer your subscription to a new home.
Cancel your subscription
Important: When you cancel a Google Home Premium subscription, you'll lose your sound detection clips and any video you haven't saved. Before you cancel, learn how to save important clips.
You can cancel your Google Home Premium subscription on the Google Store through the Nest subscription management page.
To cancel your Google Home Premium subscription, you first need to determine where you bought your subscription. Before you cancel, be sure to check the Google Home Premium cancellation policies.
- If you bought through Google Play: Learn how to cancel your Google Play subscription.
- If you bought through Google Store or Nest Store: Follow the steps below.
- Go to the Google Store Subscription management page.
- Sign in with Google.
- On the “Subscriptions” page, select the subscription you’d like to cancel.
- On the right, select More Cancel subscription. 
 Tip: A summary of charges will be provided.
- To complete the cancellation, select Cancel subscription.
From your computer
- Go to the Nest Subscription management page.
- Sign in with your Nest account.
- If you have more than one home, select the home that has the subscription you want to cancel.
- In the “Subscriptions” section, select the subscription you’d like to cancel.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- To complete the cancellation, select Cancel subscription.
From the Nest app
- From the Nest app, tap Settings . 
 Tip: If you have multiple homes, be sure to select the right home and camera.
- Tap Google Home Premium.
- You’ll find a screen that lists some features of Google Home Premium. At the bottom, tap Manage Subscription.
- In the “Subscriptions” section, select the subscription you’d like to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- To complete the cancellation, select Cancel subscription.
Switch your Google Home Premium subscription
Important:
- You can’t purchase any new 1st gen Nest Aware subscriptions after you migrate your Nest account to Google.
- You can’t change your billing plan cycle from monthly to annual or from annual to monthly.
You can switch between Google Home Premium Standard plan and Google Home Premium Advanced plan at any time. To change your plan, visit the Google Store Subscription management page.
As of July 13, 2023, 1st gen Nest Aware subscriptions will no longer be available for purchase. Any subscriptions that you currently have will continue to renew. For continued coverage, subscribe to the Google Home Premium.
Change your payment method
You can change the card or payment method you use to pay for your subscription.
Change your Nest Aware payment method on the Google Store | Google Store- Go to Google Store Subscription management page.
- Select Change payment method for the subscription you'd like to update.
- Select a payment method Submit.

Transfer your Google Home Premium subscription to a new home
Important:
- In the state of Illinois, Google Home Premium subscription does not offer Familiar Face features due to state laws.
- You can only have one subscription per home.
- 1st gen Nest Aware subscriptions are no longer available once cancelled.
- Save any video history you want to keep.
Transfer your Google Home Premium subscription with the Google Home app if you purchased it for the wrong home or moved.
Only one subscription is allowed per home. If you already have a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription on your new home, and transfer another Google Home Premium subscription, your 1st gen subscription will be cancelled and be replaced by the new Google Home Premium subscription. You can never get your 1st gen subscription back once it has been cancelled.
You’ll receive a prorated refund for the remaining time on the 1st gen subscription.
To start the transfer:
- Open the Google Home app . 
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
- Tap to Settings Subscriptions Google Home Premium Transfer subscription. 
- Select the home to transfer the subscription to.
- Tap Next for the transfer reminders.
- All Google Home Premium features will be transferred.
- Video history and face library will be deleted.
- Your subscription will be transferred but your devices will remain in your old home.
- Your subscription and the billing date cycle will not change.
- All Google Home Premium features will be transferred.
- Video history and face library will be deleted.
- Familiar face detection will no longer be available after the transfer.
- Your subscription will be transferred but your devices will remain in your old home.
- Your subscription and the billing date cycle will not change.
- Your new home will get 30 days of event video history.
- 24/7 video history will be switched to event video history.
- Your 1st gen Nest Aware subscription will be cancelled and you’ll be refunded for any time remaining.
- 1st gen Nest Aware subscription will no longer be available after the transfer.
- Your subscription will be transferred but your devices will remain in your old home.
- Your new home will get 60 days of event video history.
- Some video history will be switched to event video history.
- Your 1st gen Nest Aware subscription will be cancelled and you’ll be refunded for any time remaining.
- 1st gen Nest Aware subscription will no longer be available after the transfer.
- Your subscription will be transferred but your devices will remain in your old home.
- Tap Transfer OK to confirm.
