These features are only available to music label and distributor partners who use YouTube Studio Content Manager and the YouTube DDEX feed with version 3.6+ of the Electronic Release Notification (ERN) standard.
When you deliver sound recordings that comprise an album, you should include all of the recordings together in one delivery batch. YouTube creates a playlist based on the album.
-
In a DDEX file, the Resource List should have one element with the <ResourceType> of Album and multiple elements with the <ResourceType> of TrackRelease, one for each track on the album.
-
In an Art Track spreadsheet, create a row for each track on the album. You can only deliver 1 album in a single CSV delivery.
Include all tracks on an album even when you don't own the rights to all of the sound recordings, such as on a compilation. Provide the metadata (such as titles, artist names, and ISRC) for tracks you don't own, but omit ownership data (the DDEX <DealTerms>, or track_territory_start_dates in a spreadsheet) for the track. You also don't need to deliver the media files for tracks you don't own.
