These features are only available to partners who use YouTube Studio Content Manager.
You can set ad format defaults to apply consistently to all new uploads. When you do this, you don't have to change the settings every time you upload a video. It's best to set your default ad formats when creating a new channel.
Channel level
Follow the instructions to set your default ad formats.
Content Manager level
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager.
- From the left menu, select Channels

- In the Overview tab, hover over the channel you want to manage.
- Click "Upload defaults settings"

- Select the Monetization tab.
- Set the ad format(s) you want to allow on the channel.
Note: Keep in mind that video-level settings can override channel-level settings. Channel-level settings can override Content Manager-level settings.
