Just when i thought I was out, they pull me back in 😉 This here is a sole album of US Surf Rock band from Raleigh, NC. formed by Dave Adams in 1997. It’s a cool collection of hot rod/ surfin’ instro action tunes with kinda cinematic feel. Enjoy the ride!

“Little Games”, originally released in 1967, was the last Yardbirds studio album. It was recorded after Jeff Beck and Paul Samwell-Smith had left the band to be replaced by Jimmy Page.
”After the commercially and critically successful Yardbirds’ albums Having a Rave Up with The Yardbirds (1965) and Yardbirds/Over Under Sideways Down aka Roger the Engineer (1966), founder member and bassist/musical director Paul Samwell-Smith left the group to pursue a career as a record producer. He was replaced on bass by studio guitarist Jimmy Page, whom the Yardbirds had originally approached to replace Eric Clapton. Page’s position as bassist was temporary and within a short while he switched to second lead guitarist alongside Jeff Beck, with rhythm guitarist Chris Dreja taking over on bass. In 1966, the Beck/Page dual lead guitar line-up produced the psychedelic “Happenings Ten Years Time Ago”, “Psycho Daisies” and “Stroll On”, the updated remake of “The Train Kept A-Rollin'” for their appearance in Michelangelo Antonioni’s film Blow-Up. However, by the end of 1966, Beck was fired from the band due to an illness that was preventing him from playing gigs while on tour in the US, and they continued as a quartet with Page as the sole guitarist.”
This is actually the first UK release of the Little Games lp with bonus tracks too no less.
By far the best sounding version of this material Ive ever heard.

Aki Aleong is american character actor, singer, percussionist and producer, born 19 December 1934 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.. “Come Surf With Me” is his sole surf instro LP from ’63. on Veejay records. Among covers of surfin’ classics as Miserlou, Apache, Surf Beat, Pipeline, Surf Rider, you got cool original tunes as ”Earthquake” and ”Hiawatha” which would later be included with The Surfaris on their ‘Hit Cit 64’ LP and others as “Body Surf”, ”Panic”, and ”Torture”. Again it’s a HQ Surfadelic monophonic vinyl rip just for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!

Released in 1979 just as the new wave was teetering on the brink of some kind of bold step forward, Things Your Mother Never Told You was one of the sudden shoves which sent it sprawling into its destiny. Electro-punk starts here. Producer David Cunningham takes only a portion of the credit; in years to come he would lead the Flying Lizards into the realm of heavily stylized electronica. But County’s songs match his ambitions all the way, from the harsh, grating soundscapes behind “C3″‘s muttered imprecations to the soft-spoken paranoia of “Waiting for the Marines,” and onto “Berlin,” the song that put into words everything David Bowie (among others) tried to convey about that city via image and insinuation. It’s not all electro-art smarts, of course. “Boy With the Stolen Face” and the pouting, punishing “Wonder Woman” are archetypal Electric Chairs – a reminder of how, at the band’s very best, they could run the Rolling Stones close in the swaggering rock & roller stakes – and the murder mystery “Wall City Girl” could have fallen off a forgotten volume of Nuggets or Pebbles. The title track, meanwhile, doesn’t simply seethe with all the promise — sexual, social, and societal — which made County the superstar (s)he so very nearly was, it also lets listeners know why no one has ever truly snatched that crown away. “Don’t let the title fool you; this is not a record of electronic music, but of twelve tunes performed by a small instrumental combo: three guitars, drums, piano and a double bass. There is a sixth instrument: the sound recording machine, which functions electronically. Don’t let the band name fool you: this is Luis Enriquez BACALOV that plays an exciting mix of instrumental beat-surf-rock’n’roll with the help of Enrico Ciacci, Alessandroni and Tosoni on guitar, the Munaro brothers on drums and Simeone on double bass. Enriquez himself plays organ, harpsichord and electric piano. In some pieces he also uses the “Onde Martenot”, an electronic instrument named after his inventor. The track list mixes originals composed by Bacalov and a few covers, including an awesome version of Morricone’s Ninna Nanna.
