Due to the immense love for the Japanese 70s Anime and Mecha robot series, and in particular the legendary work of Go Nagai which helped us growing up as kids in Italy, I have decided to cover a song that defined an era: the theme from Mazinger Z.

Unfortunately not all kids everywhere had the chance to enjoy these animation masterpieces in all their meaningful beauty, but in Italy, France and Spain these cartoons arrived heavily in the late 70s and changed forever the way we were watching TV.

I sang in Japanese and, although this obviously cannot be defined surf music, I have arranged the tune with a kind-a surfy flavour. Hope you enjoy it!
