A prolific, prodigiously talented artist, Susumu Yokota was responsible for over
thirty albums between 1993 and 2012, exploring the worlds of acid techno, trance, ambient, downtempo and beyond.
After a period of ill health, Yokota passed away in March 2015 at the age of 54.
This Bandcamp collects his Skintone releases, through Lo Recordings and The Leaf Label.

i heard this in my foundation year at art uni and didn’t think much of it, it was just on in the background during a studio session. a few years later i was really getting into ambient, and it came up on my youtube like an old friend. i’m so glad it found me again at the right time, i love it so much.
