Cumbia was always around in my life. “Ya No Estoy Aqui” was the sucker punch that led me explore more chronically. i feel blessed to be able to travel to the birthplace and adopted places of cumbia every year now since 2023. to learn and live the culture.
i want to thank my friends i have met in these travels for allowing me to join their ways and to allow me to experiment. I want to credit the Monterrey style of cumbia that inspired me so much.

i would describe this cocktail as a cumbia rebajada, dijon and rusowsky. three styles that def inspire me a lot.

“Tres” is a romantic cumbia for intimate nights — a slow-burning blend of Pulp Fiction moods, cumbia rebajada rhythms, and warped piano lines. The kind of club track made for swaying close with someone you love.
