No hay luz en el escenario, de mí no quedará más que una canción. Tal vez nadie esté escuchando, hasta la tristeza ayer desertó. Que te escriba otro poesía, esto es un grito de desesperación. La estrella del norte mira hacia otro lado, volvemos a estar solos el mar y yo. Me paseo por las ruinas, ya no duele tanto caminar sobre mis sueños con el corazón descalzo. Y ahí está tu último mensaje, aún embalsamado, querrá salir de este sarcófago negro, lo voy a borrar. Necesito volver a amar los días que estén por llegar, sentir que me sacan a rastras las musas, encontrar la llama que aleje las dudas y volver a empezar.

朝が来たのに、夜は明けない。太陽までも屈したというのか。この二人の床も、外と同じく凍てつくように寒い。塹壕を捨てて、もう一度車輪を回すことができるのか、重力の法則にしたがうことができるのか、俺にはわからない。失望を扉から追い出すこともできない。ただ叫び出したいのに、ハイエナの間を疑われないように歩くには、どうすればいいのだろう。そんなことを尋ねて何の役に立つ。お前のために泣いて何の役に立った、教えてくれ！朝が来たのに、目覚めはしない。次の駅まで死んだふりを続けたほうがいいだろう。それとも、鏡を割って痛みから目を逸らし、心臓のかけらで火をつけてみるか。もし光がこの炭と化した胸に入ることを拒むなら、そこから出て探すしかない。もし立ち上がることができるなら、愛の墓の上で踊ってみよう。しかし俺には裏切り者の死んだ手を放す力はない。この虚しさは足元からその祭壇まで俺を満たし、もう今はいない人の肩の上で、俺は打ち明ける。

Pyrrhic victory in the biting wind and the dark snowy field – Doedsrit, as many others mention, field an excellent mix of icy bleakness with majestic triumph. Every song stands out as an excellent ballad of holding on to something despite the odds. I like how the melodies and rhythms blend more stately metal and more driving punk elements to communicate different despairing vs. rebellious moments. Blackbraid is a spiritual force in the black metal scene, bringing a unique perspective and culture that was missing until the release of this album. 'Barefoot Ghost Dance on Bloodsoaked Soil' is immensely powerful, showing me that black metal is as strong as ever. 'The River of Time Flows Through Me' is excellent as well, with a crushing melody and unforgettable song title. Hail Sgah'gahsowáh, the new blood of black metal.

Striving Toward Oblivion

Here's to some more cosmic metal, the Karlsruhe based outfit offers crude yet extremely well produced sound in this earlier effort. Featuring mid-tempo cadences, occasional blast beating, high pitched shrieking essentially, the riffing has this mildly meaty, sensational over-atmospheric tilt that's always well received on my part. The perspective of getting sucked into a wormhole had never felt better I kid you not. Emperor and Inherits the Void in mind, you just can't skip this one.
