Before one of my besties, Derlin, left for CA for her internship, a small group of us took a 5-mile hike up to Horsetooth. It is a rock here in Fort Collins that looks like a horses tooth, only upside down. We were able to climb up on top of the right-most part of the tooth and eat some snacks. Here are some pictures from that day:
Above is a picture of the tooth up close
This is the view on the other side of the rock
(looking west instead of east at Fort Collins)
All of us who went hiking: Bill, Me, Colleen, and Derlin
If you look closely, you'll see a road in the middle of the picture going up towards the top of the picture. This is Horsetooth Rd. in Fort Collins. Also, you can see Horsetooth Reservoir on the west side of Fort Collins.
Besides this hike, the other eventful situation was an epic hail storm. There were warnings about it, but all the storms seemed to move north or south of us (according to the radar). After Andy left for work, it started hailing quartet-sized hail. Our front porch flooded about 2-inches or water with hail floating on top and all of our plants/hops got a major beating. Hopefully they will survive.

Hopefully the plants will be okay after getting cleaned up and getting some water and sun!
