My Craft Spot Valentines Stamp Release

Hello Everyone!  Today is finally my day to showcase the new stamps over at My Craft Spot...WooHoo!!  I've been having so much fun playing with them and mixing them into my projects!!  I worked on all these projects away from my scrap room with limited supplies, so many of them are simple (no sewing this time) but I do love how they came out!  Here are the new stamps if you haven't seen them yet!

I have to say that the Build A Valentine is my fav!  I've been using it on everything from Valentines Day projects to Birthday Cards!  This is going to be long so I'll try not to chat too much!

I wanted to make a Cricut card for all my Cricutee friends out there (yes I am making that a word...hehe)!

I knew when I saw these Conversation Hearts last year that I needed the Simply Charmed cartridge!  I've used that cart like a maniac since and I knew they had to be the first Valentines project this year!

The stamps are both from the new Always & Forever set and the twine is the new yummy Valentine Twist  both available at My Craft Spot

The embossing folder, punch and cardstock are all from Stampin' Up!

Next up is the card I made for the inspiration of all my Digi friends (and Twilight Fans)!

What is Heart Day without a little Edward and Bella......hmmmmmm!!  They are actually Dressy Ed and Dressy Camille digis from The Greeting Farm!  Aren't they the cutest!?!  Again, I used the Always & Forever Set and some Black Seam Binding both from My Craft Spot

I'm also using one of the new Bitty Bags as the envie for this one!  I thought the black polka dot looked great with the MME Oh La La for Her paper pad!

Ok, one last card with just my stamps and punches!  No machinery needed!

This stamp reminded me of the love notes we used to pass around in junior high!!  I used some Rusty Red Seam Binding and tied on a little Valentine Twist Bakers Twine Bow!  The little Valentine Bauble is K&Co!

All the cardstock and punches are SU!  I of course needed to add some doodles to my little love note!!!  Brings back memories!

So, what do you think so far?  I know, they are all missing my sewing machine!  Well I can't end there with just a few cards!  I have one more project to share with you so bare with me here!

What is Valentines Day without some little treat bags!  I love how cutely the Build a Valentine stamps went with these adorable images from TiddlyInks!

This little guy is Little Hopper!  I added some glossy accents to the eyes to make them shine!

Little Squeaker is such a Cutie Pie!!  I added a little glossy to her bow!

Little So and So went so perfectly with the new "Dino-mite!" stamp, don't you think!?!  I added some glossy to his spikes!

I saved the best for last!  This is sweet Little Bear!!  He is soooooo cute!  I would love for him to "Be Mine"!  I added some glossy to his little nose!

These are all little brown bags that I simply covered with cardstock (SU).  I stamp the CS with the SU Sprinkles stamp (retired) to get a patterned look and inked all the edges (I realized after getting home from my crop weekend with them, that I could have just used the new stamp sets to make the pattern effect, each set has a collection of tiny heart stamps!!)  The little Martha Stewart Lacey Punch border was a last minute addition to these little treats.

Each little bag has a coordinating Crinkle Ribbon handle to finish them off!

My Craft Spot Monday Challenge #16 - Ink it Up

Happy Monday everyone!  It's another fun challenge at My Craft Spot!  This week we are Inking It Up for our Monday Challenge!  We want to see ink on your projects!  Have you seen the amazing examples from the DT?  I am so lucky to be working with such a talented group!  Well, as soon as the forth of July passes, my mind immediately goes to fall!  I love the weather, the beautiful colors and all the fun sports, so naturally, I can't wait to get started on my fall crafts.  Here is the layout I came up with!

You see those strips of paper that I have been using to journal with all the time lately?  Well, I don't use them because I neccesarily like them.  They are all the leftover strips leftover from cutting down my paper to be card mats (you know, that 1/2" strip you get when you cut the 8.5" x 11" paper into four 4" x 5.25")!  If you sell SU (or sell your cards in bulk) then you will definetly know what I mean.  Well, I have thousands of those strips because I felt wasteful to throw them away!  Now I am using them and feeling good about it!

I inked it up with my favorite Stampin' Up! stamp, Inspired By Nature.  Doesn't it look gorgeous on the newsprint DSP?   I've been using it like crazy now!

Here is another angle.  I used Sweet Sentiments Set #1 on this corner.   I can find a reason to use this set on almost everthing I do!  Can you tell it is my favorite?

...and my sewing machine is about to get tossed out the window after this one!   I didn't do a close up of that special spot!  I used some Vintage Green Bakers Twine from My Craft Spot over in this corner and everything was sponged with Soft Suede ink.  This LO inspired me to make a set of cards which I am donating to a very special friend of my daughter's!  What do you think?

OK, so now that you have seen me Ink it Up today, I hope you'll join us at My Craft Spot with your Ink it Up project!  Everything on these is from My Craft Spot or Stampin' Up so I am not going to go through all the details (but please contact me if you want them)!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Funky Cards "I Feel the Love Project"

Madison, who is a very talented crafter over at Funky Cards has started an amazing project called "I Feel the Love Project"!  She is collecting cards monthly for different reciepients who are in need of a smile!  I wanted to help by making a card for this month's recipient, Ms. Jill Pentoney who is battling cancer right now.

Yes, I know it is not my normal for a Cricutless style card, but my migraines have been relentless this week and crafting time has been at a minimum.   I also have too many unused Stampin' Up! products who are screaming to be used!  I'm going to try to use some of them up over the next few weeks!

I love how it turned out and I hope Ms. Pentoney does too!  There is still a small bit of time to make a card for Ms. Pentoney!  Click HERE to see more about Madison's "I Feel the Love Project"!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cute as a Bug Birthday Card

Another non-Cricut Project for today!  Without power, I was forced to stamp!  I've been using my Cricut so much lately, that I forgot how relaxing it is to just sit and stamp!  I'll be entering this card into one of my new favorite challenge blogs GAB!  They are so sweet over there!  This week their theme for challenge #7 is Birthday!  I thought I would stamp a birthday card for a little friend who is into bugs!  I knew the Stampin' Up! Bugs & Kisses set would be perfect for this little bug catcher!

I had to take 15 pictures just to get these 3 decent ones (silly camera)!  I'm thinking I may need to pull out the book and see if there is something I am missing!  Once I get it fixed, I will be keeping it far from the reach of Baby E!

I used my Stampin' Write Markers to stamp the dragon fly and popped it up with some dimensionals!  The grass is from SU Inspired by Nature Stamp set (it is one of my favs)!

The "cute as a bug" was left over from a previous project and it just happened to work perfectly for this card.  If I remember correctly, I believe it was heat embossed with glitter embossing powder.  I stamped the base of the card with the dragon fly using VersaMark.  I love the way it turned out!
Sorry it is not your typical Birthday Theme for a little girl, but this card is so her!  I was thinking maybe I should save it for a spring/summer challenge but then I figured it would be fun to share!  This could easily be done in blues/greens and make it for a little boy too!

Punch Flowers LO

We spent most of the day without power so we could not use Cricut today.  In light of the situation, I have a LO using all Stampin' Up punches! My daughter's just loved working on this one!  They love punching out bits and pieces of paper!  They even picked out the pics for it!

Sorry for the bad pic.  My camera is still not working right.  Most of the pics come out blurry like this one.  I tried taking pics of the individual pages but they did not come out at all.  The real bummer for me is that we went to the Great Wolf Lodge and Waterpark this past weekend which was a great opportunity for some awesome scrapbook pictures.  I only ended up taking 48 pictures and most of them are too blurry to use.

Products Used:
  • K&Co Berry Sweet Paper (Background)
  • CTMH scrap papers
  • Stampin' Up! scrap papers
  • Stampin' Up! Punches

Thanks for stopping by!  Stop back later because I'll have some more non-Cricut projects (with bad pics) to share today!

Valentine for my Hubby

This is the last Valentine project I am going to post until next year.   It is the card that I made for my Hubby!  If you read my blog, I'm sure you've noticed that I am not into the traditional Red/Pink Valentine this year(unless it is for the kids).  Just a state of mind this year.  I hope by next year my colors will come back!

All the material used on this card are from Stampin' Up!  The Stamp set is Artistic Etchings.  I think I will enter this into  Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays "Love is in the Air" Challenge.  I am starting to have a lot of fun with all these fun places to visit!

My Christmas Cards

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a very happy holiday season.  Ours was filled with sorrow but I am determined to carry on and hopefully this blog will serve as my therapy.  I am busy packing my scrapping bags for a getaway, so my first week here will be spent posting projects I've done over the past year.  Here are my Christmas Cards I sent out for Christmas 2010.  I did not have the chance to send them all out, so if I missed you this year, I am very sorry!  I made two different cards both made using Stampin' Up! cardstock.  The stamps used on the Santa card are from Stampin' Up! and for the Nativity card I used Inspired Hearts Cricut Cartridge with My Pink Stamper's "Jesus is the reason for the Season" stamped on the inside.  Thanks for looking!
