Just Us Girls #766 ~ Sweet

 

Were going green at Just Us Girls this week! Gosh, this word challenge has so many possibilities. It's sure to be a bright and cheerful gallery. I had a certain little Sweet P in mind when making my super simple card!

I already had the sentiment hot foiled and die cut. I simply popped it onto an embossed panel then added my darling little pea with a few golden sprigs tucked behind it. The pea is heat embossed and popped up on a foam dot.

Just Us Girls #765 ~ Happy Birthday

Time to pick out those dies to make a birthday card so you can play along with us this week at Just Us Girls! The beginning of a new month means we have a new guest designer. Welcome, Jeanne Jachna we're so happy to have you joining us!

I layered together a few goodies for today's card. A cute little cat (Poppystamps), a scrap of pretty patterned paper, an embossed panel, a darling polka dot balloon (the reverse of the floral paper) and a Memory Box sentiment tab. They all play well together but for some reason I'm on the fence about this one. Maybe the coloring on the cat? Hmmm... what do you think?

Just Us Girls #764 ~ Hi

Stencils... who knew they would be so much fun to create a card with. I remember stenciling lilacs on the walls of my craft room in our former home. Gosh it was such a cozy room. I had a Pier 1 Imports chair covered with fabric that included lilacs and hydrangeas, an oak pie safe to store lots of crafting goodies, a big window and a cozy nook for stamping! All of that has nothing to do with my card, but it was a fun trip down memory lane!

You guessed it, it's stencil week at Just Us Girls and I have a new favorite set to share on my card today.

I was immediately drawn to the flowers in Pinkfresh Studio's Be Fearless set when I saw them. I snatched them up during a sale! I used rose gold hot foil on them, die cut, then stenciled in various shades of pink. The leaves look green here, but they are light aqua accented with sage green. An oversized sentiment from The Stamp Market was a fun pairing for them along with a wonky border (MFT) panel to rest them on. 

I just love the way this turned out and I hope I've inspired you to play along with us this week!

Just Us Girls #763 ~ Happy Birthday

Hey there, it's time for a new challenge at Just Us Girls! Elizabeth is hosting our Mood Board week and this one has so many possibilities! 

I picked out the candles (Poppystamps), Washi tape (of course it has to be polka dotted!) and bright colors. I thought the stars added to the festive feel I had going. What do you think, will our soon to be three year old great-nephew like it? I'm sure he'll be more interested in the package than the card!
