【Sun-bathing ( ' j ' ) 。夏日炎炎。。。正好發呆】

May 12, 2011 Finally the tap water gets cold 終於降溫了，涼！

熱到不想活動了，咻。。。

 The original plan was to make "cacing" (earthworms) popping out from sweetcorns, but it's (cacing) just too simple & dull, nothing about visual effect '~'

Unconciously, mummy moulded the mashed potatoe into an elephant!!

*happy lunch* includes:
Mashed potatoe + steamed sweetcorns & cauliflower & broccoli + seaweed soup

Perhaps, the weather is getting better, not too hot & stuffy today, Iroko's appetite has also returned ;D She finished 90% of the meal (1 large size potatoe + 1/2 cup of sweetcorns + 2 stalks of cauliflower & broccoli + 1 full bowl of soup)--mummy helped her to clear the other 2 cauliflower & brocolli.

正處於學習自主的小妞，最近也常學習討價還價。

比如媽咪提醒她洗澡洗太久了，該起來了，她就跟媽咪“殺價”，“One more time shampoo, okay? Ok larrr... ”

又比如她的雪糕癮來時，她會先“開條件”說服媽咪，“Only one okay? Promise!”

又或者，她想要爹地帶她去公園玩滑梯，她會先下手為強，“Tonight daddy brings koko to tortoise park (Taman Bukit Jalil)?”, 爹地還來不及反應，她就說，“PROMISE!”

聽起來好像有點過分，但那小妞，通常都只是說說而已，而媽咪也有自己的“太極拳” 來應付小妞，嗬嗬嗬。。。。

This is another non-cartoon *happy meal*.
Iroko called the blonde "po po" (her grandma) because they both got love handles >,<""
It (the meal) doesn't mean to satirize, indeed! To mummy, that is a language of motherly, a symbol of debonair ^.^

Honestly, the *happy lunch* is specially designed to remember mummy's mummy! Simply miss her...
Because of giving birth to her six children, she gained such a figure for the later part of her life!!

The quality of the Russet potato mummy bought this round is really good! Other than the natural sweetness, it gives very fine and smooth texture after being mashed.

In order to differentiate the hair and skin, which was quite pale, little amount of Milo (type of chocolate & malt powder, similar to Vico, etc.) was added to the mashed potato. Unexpectedly, the chocolate flavour mashed potato tastes gooooooood!!! yum yum ^.^v

*happy lunch* includes:
Apple (starter) + boiled quail eggs + mashed potato +
steamed broccoli, baby corn & cauliflower + winter melon soup

昨天差不多把晚餐吃完的時候，小妞很自滿地告訴媽咪：
“Koko pandai hor, finished the dinner by yourself （她自己），no need mummy feeds.... Koko is a good girl！But mummy is not a good girl... :-( ”

媽咪很不解地問她為什麼。

“Because mummy got angry！！That's not nice, you know？！” >_<"'

原來她還對昨天下午在洗澡時發生的事耿耿於懷@.@

話說小妞不喜歡花灑灑在她頭上的感覺，昨天洗澡時，小妞在浴缸裡享受泡泡浴，媽咪就用花灑幫她把頭上的泡沫洗乾淨，結果由於她的雙手都沾滿泡沫，無法擦去臉上的水，於是氣急敗壞的她就呱呱叫STOP STOP!!
媽咪就故意用激將法告訴她要是她真的那麼怕水，那以後就不能學游泳了。一聽媽咪那麼一說，她就叫得更大聲了。於是，媽咪就很豎起了臉，幫她擦乾身體，穿衣。。。讓她知道不可以那麼放縱！

原來在孩子的眼裡，不笑的臉=生氣！！

September 28, 2011 Sunny with clear sky ^.^v

Hippo has not turned up in {ma-masak} since its last presence half a year ago. To mummy, that hippo is a failure because it resembles the features of a pig rather than a hippo >,<
Over the past few months, mummy seriously took it to heart... and today the promise is fulfilled. Here comes the lady hippo in her bath o(^,*)o
Whether or not this creature deserves the name "hippo", it is no longer on the "must-do" list >,<

以前小妞抗拒排便的那段日子，不是每天都會上大號，由於擔心小妞身體有什麼毛病/便秘問題，所以媽咪都會把每一次小妞上廁所的“成果”都用手機拍下來做記錄--觀察嗯嗯的形狀，顏色和軟硬度。

現在，總算雨過天晴了，連小妞自己在每次完成任務後都會自誇一番：
“Koko pandai hor！？！en en didn't cry ！”

不單如此，每一次快要“破蛹而出”時，那小妞就顯得特別期待+興奮，等著看嗯嗯如何“坐滑梯”掉下水 >,<

今天當小妞聽到“噗通”一聲時，就如常往馬桶看她的戰績，怎知嗯嗯沉了下去，往通道逃走了。小妞就很失望地唱著：
“en en, en en where are you, can you show me where you are?...”

“Mummy, why is en en hiding？”
媽咪就告訴她，嗯嗯害羞，shy，所以躲起來了。

“hehehe...en en paisei （福建話：害羞）！！” >,<

September 22, 2011 Humid hazy rainy cloudy...

Rat + Cat = Disaster??
Nothing is impossible ;)

They were supposed to be "black-matches-yellow" but the pan fried egg was not thin enough to perfectly wrap up the rice ball. As a result, here comes the contrast match ;p

*happy lunch* includes:
Grapes & cherry tomatoes (starter) + fried egg +  cabbage fish ball soup +
braised cauliflower, black fungus, oyster mushroom,  enoki mushroom & broccoli stalk

媽咪碎碎念：
因為小妞， 媽咪終於有機會真正欣賞一部聞名已久的經典歌舞劇‘The Sound of Music’ 。
記得中學時期因為電視台重播，那電影又被翻熱了一輪。也忘了自己是否有看過，只知道對劇情一點印象也沒有 ;p

女兒的爸念了好久說要讓女兒看這出真人真事文藝片，那時媽咪還潑冷水說小妞怎麼會看上那種“古董”作品 =.=
結果買回來後，媽咪就被爹地的冰水由頭淋到腳 #.#
小妞竟然愛死了那影片！！！剛開始的頭幾天更是猖狂得從早看到晚；接下來幾天還好，只是不斷重播那幾幕她喜歡的歌舞片段。

跟著小妞看，媽咪終於明白它會成為經典的原因了。
在那個沒什麼科技可言，娛樂消遣寥寥無幾的年代，能有這般水準的內容+曲目，那影片確實很深得人心。更何況其中一首是很多人的快樂童謠，即使像媽咪這些70後沒看過影片的，都幾乎會哼上幾句：

DOE, a deer, a female deer

RAY, a drop of golden sun

ME, a name I call myself

FAR, a long long way to run

SEW, a needle pulling thread

看了不下20次，小妞都還是只記得DOE 和ME那兩句而已 >.<

Mummy has a preference over ladybugs--whenever there is any suitable material available in the kitchen, this little lovely insect would certainly have the chance to show up... and the bugs always outshine the "key person" of the meal ;p

Stewed chicken & broccoli & cauliflower & carrot & black fungus & fresh mushrooms

The two mushroom-elephants are so ugly >.< Nothing like elephant but look more like PIG with long snout *(^j^)*

童言童語之拜神記：
家裡沒有供佛，也沒有奉拜祖先，但不知何故小妞就是特別誠心拜拜。每到一處看到有神尊，香爐，甚至僅僅神/佛像圖片，她都會停下腳步，從容地膜拜一番。
一定要為她記錄下來的是她的經典膜拜口號：

“保佑Koko平安，快高長大，嗯嗯沒有cry，shower沒有cry， wake up沒有cry！”，之後還要附上一句 “OKAY？！？！” >.<

整10天沒有blogging了，雙手在鍵盤徘徊了好久還是沒什麼頭緒要如何開頭。。。 >.<

今天讓小妞去了kindergym （兒童韻律操的啟蒙班）的trial class ，看看她是否能夠“勝任”，能不能夠適應沒有媽咪貼身陪她上課的那一個小時。雖然小妞依然很期待，依然很興奮，她還是悄悄哭了兩回。。。還在媽咪的耳邊呢喃道：
“Koko wants SMALL GIRL class，don't want BIG GIRL class...” @.@

還好，小妞還是漸漸進入佳境，歡歡喜喜地完成了那堂課 ^^

【'兎'-GETHER 。同枕共眠】

2011年7月5日 又見艷陽天

自從女兒加入媽咪的世界後
媽咪就一直跟她“相依為命”
從來都不曾試過和她分開（連續）超過10個小時
我們就是這樣
一直同枕共眠了2年又9個半月的日子

休息了好久，要重新開始動手弄女兒的*快樂餐*真的有點不知所措 ;p
笨手笨腳地總算把這對兎母女弄出來了。。。

她笑 媽咪就了上大半天
她哭 媽咪還是得強顏歡笑地逗她開心

就是孩子身上的那股力量
讓媽媽知道 無怨無悔地付出是生命裡最幸福的事
讓媽媽學會了什麼叫 “知足”！

小妞頓了一頓，眼珠一轉說道：“Koko not yet grown up. Daddy good boy, gotta make the bed for Koko!"

June 09, 2011 Blur blur sunny day

After being completely closed for one day, the {ma--msak} kitchen is back to its normal operation today.



Like other kids, Iroko loves underwater creatures, including sharks ^.^

Mummy always feels uneasy/lacking for not preparing *happy meal* on any normal day, unexpectedly, the little queen does feel the same!! She kept reminding mummy to make her the seahorse, which she saw in mummy's sketch book, whenever both of us were in the kitchen yesterday. However, she enjoyed her take-away-chicken rice- lunch even without any cartoon/animal, etc. ;)

*happy lunch* includes:
Orange (starter) + Miso soup with laver sheets +
mashed potato & carrot + steamed cauliflower, broccoli, French beans & fish balls

童言童語：
吃完晚餐回家的路上，不知怎麼的喝奶的癮突然來了，小妞就戰戰兢兢地向媽咪要求--因為她知道，不是特殊情況，現在媽咪不允許她在睡覺前以外的時間吸奶，但其實她已經躺了下來，準備“就緒”還想幫媽咪“寬衣”，還一邊唱著：“The cows give us milk, the cowss give us milk, hai yo ho.....”

在一旁駕車的爹地馬上笑了出來，“eh, 妳的女兒說妳是母牛！！”#_#

媽咪就問：“Koko, are you saying mummy is a COW? Because mummy gives you milk! ”
小妞頓了一頓，馬上有點尷尬地否定：“NO!! Mummy is not moo moo. Mummy is mummy!”，語畢，就給媽咪一個吻*u*

女兒啊，其實媽咪打從心裡很樂意也很享受當妳的那頭母牛，那種和妳相依相偎的親密時光是最幸福的事！

【Ice-Breaking 。破冰而出】

June 07, 2011 Sleepy =o=

*happy lunch* includes:
Apple (starter) + English gourd soup +
stewed cauliflower with mushroom & carrot + grilled sausage

After a few days of warming up, the mood to prepare *happy meals* seems getting better and mummy's nimbleness is recovering... ;)

The only regret is the ears of the polar bear ;s They are too small to be molded by too little amount of rice (of course that is not infeasible, just the matter of time! Iroko was asking for her lunch when the bear was nearly done). Thus, cauliflowers were used instead.
Peculiarly, normal fragrant rice is stickier than the Japanese Sushi rice mummy bought from a rice specialty @.@ (mummy tried to make sushi over the weekend, but the mission was not so successful)

小妞真的是“姣婆守唔到寡”，幾乎每天都想出街 >,<
昨天和媽咪在家裡呆了整個上下午, 晚餐後，一聽到爹地要去丟垃圾，就飛奔跟著去。跟爹地牽著手走回家時，小妞就向爹地撒嬌：“Daddy, let's go out buy something!” @,@

這就是所謂的“女生外向”吧？！

May 13, 2011 Cloudy? Hazy? and too warm

Blogger dashboard was temporarily unavailable the whole afternoon yesterday. Initially, mummy has so much thoughts about the A-B-C *happy lunch* and Iroko to be blogged, but the "unsaved memory" has almost "corrupted" after 20 hours... This is so called AGEING!!!

While waiting for mummy to recover her memory, let's have a look at the "Magic Show" presented by Iroko Soong ^@^

Look, the Angry Bird becomes lao ah pek bird. Nothing about "angry", isn't? ;p
It's now the cutie Angry Bird *u*

The same thing, this is not the originally {ma-masak} plan of the day. Mummy has had something else on her mind. When Iroko saw Angry Bird on mummy's sketch book, thing changed. Immediately, she got mummy sat in front of the laptop and asked for Angry Bird game!! As Iroko saw the images of Angry Birds, she kept pointing at the screen (to ENTER the "game") and pulling the slingshot with her little finger @.@ . Of course, she couldn't make any change to the screen '^'

In fact, she requested for Angry Bird since last week but mummy ignored that ;p (too many angry birds liao!! sian...) Today, after seeing how Iroko "playing the game" from laptop, mummy changed her mind :) What is {ma-masak} for?? It's to bring happiness to the daughter, isn't?

話說小妞很想念拿“電子鳥”，當她發覺媽咪開給她玩的“電子遊戲”不像她平時玩爺爺的ipad的那個AngryBird時，就可憐兮兮，很無奈地告訴媽咪，“This is laptop, not Ipad. yeye's Ipad in Alor Setar.”

不過，沒一會兒，她就將ipad和Angry Bird拋諸腦後，玩她的皮球，看她的Hi-5去了 ^u^

February 23, 2011 Stuffy day

She isn't as talkative as mummy expected,
but she mumbles a lot!

She isn't a fluent speaker,
but she verbalises as she came across anything catching her eyes or ears!

She isn't an apt learner,
but she copies mummy's readings in earnest!

She isn't having many vocab in her "dictionary",
but she rattles on when her mood is right!

She isn't ready to say "I LOVE YOU",
but she calls "mummy mummy..." in whispers to tell "I LOVE YOU"!

Although she is rather a late-beginner she's never been bothered!
Mummy, do take it easy! She's still be herself, a slow happy young learner ;)

What a fun to hear Iroko imitates mummy & daddy by saying:
"ai shey man!"; "Be careful huh, don't fall, bleeding painful!"; "Oh my God, so big/so high...!"; "emm, so nice, yummy, good!"; "aiyo, very very hot/cold!"; "Come on! 快點！"

Slow down the pace, you will discover more amazing developments achieved by your child;
Listen sincerefully, you will hear the happinesses and sadnesses living in the little world of your child;
See thoughtfully, your child will surprise you by showing who you are!
