Wednesday of Challenge!

Today's Challenge is up early, wohoooooooo!!! I am soooo happy that I pre-scheduled it so it will be here early, lol. I will try to do that more often. Well, about the challenge, do a masculine card. I know how hard that can be. The other day my MIL called me to ask me if I can do a card for one of her sons. I couldn't say no, because I love her, I love my BIL and I love to make cards, right? so it was an easy one. BUT then I was thinking what to do, lol!! If you know me, you know that I am a girly, girly stamper, lol! Thanks God, during my Friday's class a dear friend and downline came and she came with this set that I was dying to use, when she said "with this set you can do some really good masculine card" and I said, THANK YOU!! this is what I am going to use for my BIL card!! wohoooo!! I paired it up with the Winchester collection wich is an awesome collection for guys, right?

El reto de hoy está tempranito, wohoooooooo! Estoy feliz de que pude pre-programarlo y así está aquí temprano, jeje. Voy a tratar de hacer eso más a menudo, se siente super bien, pues no tengo el ajoro que me bloquea, jeje. Bueno, sobre el reto de hoy, hacer una tarjeta masculina. Sé lo difícil que puede ser, así que manos a la obra, si no la necesitas ahora mismito la guardas para cuando la necesites. El otro día mi suegra me llamó para preguntarme si podía hacerle una tarjeta para uno de sus hijos. Yo no podía decir que no, porque la amo, quiero muchísimo a mi cuñado y me encanta hacer tarjetas, así que fue una tarea fácil, al menos el decirle que sí. Pero entonces ya luego me estaba rompiendo la cabeza con la idea de que hacer, jeje!! Si me conoces, tú sabes que soy una "girly, girly stamper", jeje! Gracias a Dios, durante mi clase del viernes una querida amiga y "downline" vino con este set que me estaba muriendo por usar, cuando dijo "con este set puedes hacer unas tarjetas masculinas hermosas" le dije, ¡GRACIAS! este es el que voy a utilizar para la tarjeta de mi cuñado! wohoooo!! La usé con la colección de Winchester, que es una colección super buena para chicos, ¿verdad? y aquí está el resultado.

Oopss! The Tall Boy Box!

Today was a LONG day! Lots of things to do and some problems to fix! (and memories to remember, I was enjoying my videos from Seminar, WE REALLY HAD FUN!!, lol). I was almost ready to sleep when I remembered that I have to post my BOX!! I told you so!!! so here it is!! This was a project I designed for Paper Wings. I create this box to give some chocolates to my DH for Father's Day!! don't tell him. Because that was my intention but I forgot to give it to him!! I was sooooo busy cooking and getting everything together to have a spectacular Father's Day! (I started on Saturday honoring my Father, do you remember?) Anyway I hope you can use it over and over is a great box and it looks fenomenal! I need to go to sleep! but hope you enjoy it! If it looks familiar with another one, yes!! This is the father of the Club Med Mini Box! I designed this one first and then I adapted to use only half of the cardstock to save a littel bit on it! I called this one Tall Boy Box!

Hoy fue un día SUPER LARGO! Muchas cosas que hacer y algunos problemas que arreglar! (y memorias que recordar, hoy estuve viendo algunos de los videos que grabé durante el Seminario, SI QUE GOZAMOS!! jeje). Estaba casi lista para dormir cuando recordé que tenía que poner la CAJA!! Les dije que lo haría, así que aquí está!! Este fue un proyecto que diseñé para Paper Wings. Creé esta caja para darle unos chocolates a mi esposo el Día de los Padres!! NO le digan pues esa fue mi intención pero se me olvidó!! Estaba tannnnnn ocupada cocinado y preparandolo todo para pasar un Día de los Padres especTACular!! (Recuerdan que empecé el sábado honrando a mi querido padre!!) De todos modos espero que puedan usar esta cajita una y otra vez pues de verdad que se ve fenomenal!! Okay, necesito irme a dormir, espero la disfruten! Si te parece familiar, es que es el papá de la Club Med Mini Box! Diseñé esta primero y luego la adapté de tal manera que la CM solo usará medio cardstock. Esta se llama Tall Boy Box!

Masculine card and a really BAD news!

Yep, I got the diagnostic today! It was the mother board, the power problem burn it!! ouch!! Now I need to get my data and start fresh! NO!! I don't have money for a computer right now, BUT I have an awesome friend that gave me her old laptop so I can keep going until them!! She is such a great friend, don't you think? WOW! I am really touch by the way she told me take my old laptop and that way you can continue doing your stuff!! How nice, right? anyway here is the card I did for my Wednesday of Challenge here. Yes, I know I am late, but I was soo out of my mind with the computer problem and I tought it was fixable today I was like ohhhhhhh, is not true he just want to sell another machine to me!! lol! DH looked at me and told me hello girl! this is a really old machine!! (it was an IBM, the guys at Office Max told me it could go to a Computer Museum, can you beleive it? lol)

Anyway, just to inform you what is going on in my life but I will be here soon (I hope so!)

March WOW Blogger - Special Guest

First, I need to apologize because I couldn't send to anyone the package for this month WOW blogger! I had a lot of stuff on my plate and I couldn't contact her on time so I just contacted her for April!! I am really sorry for this. BUT, I have a Special Guest Designer for you today!! Let me tell you the story, DH was out and arrive on Saturday, so my oldest daughter, Mariana, wants to do something special for him. She started asking for a lot of stuff! lol. She wants to do a wood frame similar to one I did for the living room, but I didn't have any of those here. I opened my closet looking for something that can WOW her (she is ) and I found that box!! she was WOW! "yes mom, that can work", lol!! she asked for some papers that looks masculine (she said blue, brown and kraft, yes I was like, what? and she told me you can find something here) so I looked and found the Winchester collection she agreed and I gave her one 5 X 7 of each 5 papers, and here what she did ALL by HERSELF!!! (I only help her looking for the words she ASKED! yes she placed the tags and flower and she asked me to look for a bid DAD (that fir that label) the AND (she founded) and the word US, is on that flower because US are Mariana, Rebeca, Gabriela and ME since we are girls that word have to be in something GIRLY! I was WOW! (you have to see her talking, she talks just like me, doing all king of thing with her face and hands) I love it! I am going to do a workshop with this project, lol! Well since I didn't have a WOW blogger for you I thought to picked her to be my WOW guess! can you leave some love for her? she is 9 y/o and LOVE to scrap and stamp with or without mom, lol! She is waiting to be 18 to sign up with TAC! can you tell? I guess that I will be done when that happen, lol!

I am sure she is going to love to read your comments! she don't know that I am doing this! so is a whole surprise!!

What you think? does she have talent or is only mom's eyes!! Well mom and DH because he was WOW with it as well, he told her tha she can submit it to a contest or magazine!! lol, so I guess we are proud of her!! I know we are!

Wednesday of Challenge!!

I know you miss me, I miss you too! I have being busy with the end of the semester, getting my scrap area organized, working on some projects!! I will share later! and preparing for Seminar!!! Is so exciting!! Well I just want to give you this week challenge USE SCRAPS!! I did this card with stuff from my table! yeahhhhh and I've being organizing, lol! you can see that I'm working with Masculine/Dad projects!! Wednesday of challenge!

Yesssssssssss, is Wednesday again!! Since Father's Day is just around the corner I will love to challenge you with some Masculine Cards!! I know that those are real scary to work with! but I bet you can find some inspiration and do a card for that special Man in your life! It can be any theme! birthday, Father's Day, Thank you! anything, just a Masculine card!! Hope to see lots of this one!!
