I have not posted on this thing for SOOOOO long because everytime I sit down to I get overwhelmed with all the things I SHOULD post about. So, instead... I'm just going to start from today.
We celebrated McKenzie's 4th Birthday last week. I really can't believe it. In fact, if Brodee wouldn't have been such a hard kid so I could focus a little more, I might have been really emotional. McKenzie's my bud. She spends 24 hours a day by my side (literally, she sleeps in my bed still.. We're working on it... it's a 4 year and counting project). I have decided that I would LOVE to freeze McKenzie at the age she is. She's still a cute little kid, but quickly getting into that not so cute age where they're still young, but too old to get away with saying naughty things or having food all over their face. But she's not throwing temper tamptrums on an hourly basis. It's a perfect stage! She says the darndest things, she loves to be the boss (I know... weird ha,ha), and she LOVES to be helpful. She loves to color, read, play with her friends, and watch "Dragon Tales" on Netflix. Apparently her favorite food is carrots??? I really couldn't say what her favorite food is. She eats what I feed her. She does like Ramen noodles thanks to her dad, and she loves fruit snacks. Her favorite color is purple.
To celebrate her birthday we had the neverending birthday week. It wasn't intended that way, but sort of turned out that way. We started Thursday when she was the VIP in school. She requested that I DID NOT stay and watch (which I was not happy about, but figured she'd do better without me) and M&M cookies (which I had never made in my life, or hers for that matter). The cookies turned out AMAZING by the way. Best M&M cookies ever if Ido say so myself.
On her actual birthday we took the whole fam to Fat Cats. We bowled, played miniature golf, ate pizza, and opened presents. This was a blast! I really enjoyed it, and so did the kids.

Brodee enjoyed pushing the ball. He got really upset in the beginning because they were too heavy to pick up and throw around. But got used to the idea of pushing them down the lane.

Sadee just walked around scavenging for food and sassing everyone around. This picture cracks me up. But truthfully, it is so typical Sadee.

The next day we had a birthday party for McKenzie. It was a pajama party. McKenzie had a blast and I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of her birthday week. Cute friends, Good food, pajamas, and presents. What more could you ask for?
