Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Hello.

 Our theme this time is Masculine.

Normally this is an easy one for me but it's been a bit of a week.  I'm coming to you from isolation as we've had a positive covid test in the house this week.  Unfortunately it was Scott, who celebrated his 16th birthday with covid.  He seems to be ok though and we've all done tests with negative results so fingers crossed all is ok.

So this is a card someone asked me to make to thank a friend for doing some canvases for her girls.  She asked for a paintbrush and something arty so this is what I did.  The recipient was over the moon too which is always good to know.

I made this card a few weeks ago and used the bubble wrap from the inside of a padded envelope to create the background on my gelli plate.  Also used calico to stamp the sentiment on.

A Big Cake.....

Hello.

Wherever you are I hope you're safe and well.  Here in Scotland we're still in lockdown until mid February at the earliest.  I can't tell if this is the original one, the "2 week" circuit breaker one, the "you had a day off for Christmas, let's lock everything down again" one or an entirely new one.

Anyway, let's not discuss it further this is a covid free zone.

Today's card is the card I made for the lovely Chris from Sweet Stampin'  who had a birthday recently and what better way to have a birthday than a cake as big as your head!

Blogging this now it has just struck me that I really have no idea what I used, I just got a whole load of stamps and stencils out and played to make the background! I must start writing these things down!

A couple of weeks ago I shocked myself by sharing a card and the birthday had only been the day before, not months or years as is my usual.  Well today is even better.  The birthday is today!! However, I know that the birthday girl has received her card so it is safe to share with you now.
