Blogversary Exchange - From Canada to Brazil

I’d finally received my parcel from Amber, our friend who lives in Canada!

The Brazilian Post Office – as everybody knows – is slower than a snail… I was the last girl to receive this Exchange’s parcel but it doesn’t matter anymore because Amber had made my day!

MS Alphabet Baby Quilt

Hi ladies!

My MS Baby Quilt is finally done! I would share with you the result because I'm completely in love. This was a gift to a baby boy, Victor, son of a sweetie friend, Joelise.

It's a soft quilt to play and rest. The colours, the fabrics and, of course, the wonderful MS Alphabet have turned this quilt in an unique piece.

'To Victor / From Aunt Simone': I think this idea is so cute!

I hope Joelise and her little angel have great and funny moments using it!

Easy ABC Quilt

Hi ladies!

This is an old but lovely project that I really like but it was resting a little bit… Last weekend I’d decided to finish it. I had sewed 12 squares that I’ve stitched so far.

It’s a gift to a baby boy who had recently born to my dearest friend, Joelise.

I hope his mommy likes the gift and Victor can enjoy the colors and have lots of fun with it.

Easy ABC Quilt

Hi there!

This is my first study to boy’s quilt using Easy ABC (you can see all embroidered letters clicking on labels at the right side of this page: ‘Easy ABC’ or ‘Simone’). I hope you had enjoyed. I love MS designs! They are so cute, aren’t they?

I’ve chosen a light blue fabric and the squares are 30cm of side. I’ve put some of them on the floor to see how they're looking. I think the quilt needs more colours. I’m thinking to sew another fabric among the squares… What do you think?

Hello, fellows! 

Finally I downloaded the Picasa 3 on my home computer and with this incredible tool I could produce a mosaic with the photos of embroidered letters from Margaret Sherry’s ABC.

This project began in mid-2010 when I was making peace with the cross stitch, but still couldn’t do it very well... The first letters embroidered embarrass me tremendously today... lol

So let's see, are ready: Archie (the bear), Bees, Cat, Dog, Elephant, Frogs, Giraffe, Hedgehogs, Jaguar, Koala, Lion, Monkeys, N (?), Q (?), Rabbits, Squires, Tortugle , X (?). 

Lack do embroidery: Iguana, Owl, Panda, Unicorn, V (?), Zebra, Yarn, Wallet. 

Dear readers of other languages, could you tell me the name of animals showed by N, Q, V and X? You can see that picture in freebies. Thanks a lot!

We followed with the ABC's Margaret Sherry. The "X" and the "E" were embroidered by Gislene. It's cute, isn't it? Gislene chose the "X" as her preferred letter. I'm in doubt between the "X" and "E"... What's your favorite letter?

Hi, everyone! The alphabet continues. The "M" was embroidered by Gislene. I adore the monkeys and his bananas! =)

I embroidered the "H" for my husband, because his name begins with this letter. It's so cute, isn't it?

Who likes frog? I like! To embroider this "F" it was so fun!

Hello, everyone! The alphabet is in progress! Today I want to share with you two more letters, "N" with cute lizards and "D" with a puppy that makes you want to hug...

The "N" was embroidered by Gislene, it was quite impressive, due to their bright colors. I loved to embroider the "D" and I’m in love! This little puppy is cute, isn’t it? :-D

Are in production: "E", with a charming elephant and the "H" with friendly hedgehogs (or is it another animal?). The mystery of the "A" remains. Someone could tell me the name of the little animal already embroidery? My research so far been frustrated...  lol

Hello! I want to share with you new letters. The "G", this adorable giraffe, it was embroidered by me. The "J" is a gorgeous jaguar. So strong! I loved! It was embroidered by Gislene. Enjoy!
