Not really business-related, but I’m going to include it anyway, because Drima the Sudanese Thinker is a blogger well worth reading: Who Else Wants to Encourage Critical Inquiry of the Quran? Lynn, it’s not an “African” country in sensu stricto, but what do you think of the events in Madagascar right now? I lived there for a couple years, have a bunch of friends there and love the country, and it distresses me how it is being internationally and economically isolated since the military overthrow of the government in March. (FWIW I abhor the previous government and believe the coup was necessary and overdue.) Since you write about Africa a bunch I’m curious as to your thoughts.

Unfortunately, I’m not sufficiently filled in about events in Madagascar to have a clear opinion at this point. It might be a good thing to write about, though; I’ll try doing some sort of Madagascar round up next week.
