Might Be Moving Motivation...

Well it looks like I might finally be moving the family out of Southern California.... and that means it's really time to start unloading more of my stuff.

In the last few hours I've put up a few new things finally... including this crazy old 70's survivor chopper tank with real gold leaf:

An ultra rare MPD 3-Fin Finned Ironhead Sportster Primary:

And my only Original Aris Triangle Light:

Look out for more stuff coming up for grabs as I get ready to move, including my real deal 70's 45 Magnum motor (900cc Ironhead Sportster heads mated to a set of original 45 cases), and possibly even the Ness digger roller in the post below (if the price is right).  So if you are looking for something just ask, if you know you're interested in something I've already got up just head over to my store, and I'm always open to reasonable offers.

The Introduction...

I'll be honest, this blog is about shameless product placement and promotion... but what isn't these days?  I've spent years searching out and collecting parts out of my pure love for the stuff that came out of the 60's and 70's... when a chopper was something built by backyard craftsmen, not jagoffs on TV with $100,000 CNC machines and a stack of parts catalogs.  Now my collection has outgrown my appetite (and time) for building my own chops... wife, kids, corporate job... and it's time to put all of my old, dusty chopper gold back into the light of day and on the road.

Of course there's other stuff I'll be sharing here, including some stuff I'm still holding onto (unless I get an offer I can't refuse of course), like this barn find one off Ness Digger that once graced the pages of Supercycle magazine:

Rescued from storage in Northern CA:

In all of its 70's chopper glory:

I'm getting ready to start bringing this one back to life.  It will be running a 68 Ironhead Motor with a Dellorto DHLA Dual Throat Carb in true over-carburated digger fashion, an MPD Finned Primary, old Ness Tiller bars, and unless I sell them before I get around to fitting them up a set of Jammer "Blaster" 2 piece wheels.  Iwill keep the blog updated on the progress of course!
