Licence
Two licences apply here, because the writing and the software that presents it are different things.
CC BY-NC-ND 4.0
Share it, quote it, link to it — with credit. No commercial use, and no republishing modified versions.

The theme, layouts and migration scripts. Take them, change them, build something of your own with them.
Read the full licence →What you may do with the writing
- Share and redistribute any article, in any medium or format
- Quote an excerpt in your own writing
Provided that you credit the article's named author and OSIFY, and link back to the article here.
What you may not do
- Use it commercially. That includes republishing articles on an ad-supported site, in a paid publication, or as part of a commercial product.
- Publish a modified version. Translations, rewrites and summaries that stand in for the original all count.
Reposting an article in full elsewhere is not permitted, attributed or not. Link to it instead — that costs you nothing and keeps the record in one place.
Screenshots are not all ours to license
Many of these articles show operating system dialogs, developer tools and other people's websites. Those belong to their owners and appear here for illustration and commentary. Nothing on this page grants you rights over them.
Several people wrote this
Copyright in each article rests with the person who wrote it, and every article names its author. The licence is offered on that basis.
If you want to do more
Translating an article into Khmer or English, republishing it in full, using it in teaching — these are usually fine, but ask first. Open an issue and say what you have in mind.
